125 N Main St, KingI have been coming to NVAH for 25 years. Dr. Kreeger and his staff have always treated me and my animals with respect, been fair and always held my fur babies well-being as the priority. My dogs have boarded here and always get excited when walking in the door. They love the staff and all the spoiling they get! I'm very picky about how my "family" is treated! Here they are treated like family. NVAH cares about you and your animal. I've shed many tears when "that" time has come and the staff have always shown compassion to us. In all honesty, you get what you pay for and I'll pay for the quality A+ service and compassion that I get here!! Keep it up NVAH!!!

King Veterinary Hospital
425 Kirby Rd, KingMy wife and I have several cats, and we were pretty stressed about finding a new vet after our move to King. Our cats are like our kids.
We have one cat in particular (Finn) who is absolutely terrified of everyone and everything, so we were especially worried about how the vet would treat him. We called several Banfield vets in the area, but they were mostly booked and told us we’d have to drop him off and couldn’t stay with him.
Not only did King Veterinary Hospital let us stay with him, but our vet tech Carolyn also stayed with us during the visit and helped calm Finn down while Dr. Aldrich did the examination. Carolyn even held her hands over Finn’s eyes to keep him calm while Dr. Aldrich did all her checks and then cuddled /held him while we discussed a game plan with Dr. Aldrich. When it was time for Carolyn to take Finn into the back to do blood work we weren’t worried at all.
As for the exam itself, we were very pleased with Dr. Aldrich. She took plenty of time to listen to our specific concerns, seemed to do a very thorough exam, and seemed genuinely interested in helping Finn get better. When we go to the larger chain vets it often feels like they are trying to get everything over with as soon as possible - not the case here at all.
Excellent business - couldn’t be happier. Prices were reasonable too.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Amazing Thailand Restaurant
705 S Main St, KingI cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! We were only passing through town and decided to do something other than fast food and gave this place a try. Honestly, despite living four hours away would drive back for this food! Not only that the entire atmosphere of this place was phenomenal, what I can only assume is the owner was helping serve us and was extremely friendly and personable. If I happen to be back this way, I will be stopping by again without question.

Little Italy Pizza & Italian Restaurant
612 S Main St, KingThe service was excellent! She kept my drink filled and regularly checked on me. The sweet tea was perfect. The bread was the best I've ever had. The manicotti was ok. The pasta seemed a bit overcooked but the sauce was good. The place was very clean so I definitely would go back.

Town & Country Restaurant
627 S Main St, KingMe and my family eat here all the time, is truly a wonderful experience. It's an amazing place and you get an old school feeling mixed with modern culture, and that's truly amazing. The workers are very nice and very kind, the service is a little long, but not more than 15 minutes, and it's worth it anyways. The food is very tasteful.
