“A great location for getting down to Nag's Head or up to corolla. Emily and Shannon at the front were wonderful.
The room was clean and comfortable.
While the breakfast area gets crowded, the morning crew is well coordinated in keeping the breakfast items stocked.
We will happily stay here again.”

“Great location right on the beach. The indoor and outdoor pool were nice. The only reasons they don’t get a five are there is no free coffee except in the rooms, gym is tiny, hot tub was foamy and the front desk doesn’t pick up the phone.”

“Large, nice room with private balcony facing sunrise. Located right on the beach with private access, this was a very nice stay. The free breakfast is amazing, so much to choose from. The pool and hot tub were nice to enjoy as well.”

“4th time visiting NC this year and after staying at the dump called the Sea Ranch resort, Shutters Inn and Surf Side hotel we finally found a gem. Im so upset with myself for spending money on these other hotels after staying at the Holiday Inn. They keep the hallways and rooms clean and tidy and free of sand, the breakfast is pretty damn good and the people are very friendly and accommodating. We had a top floor oceanfront room and the view was perfect. The shower never ran out of hot water, they have a underground wash area to wash the sand off after visiting the beach, they have coffee and snack in the lobby for midnight snacks, plenty of parking. Unlike the other hotels/resort the Holiday Inn doesn't show the wear and tear. Lastly, love how they have a screened windows so at night you can open it and listen to the waves, only hotel that has that. This is our go to hotel for now on or until we find something better. Perfect balance between employees and comfort.

Rooms: Spacious room, large flat screen TV comfy beds and pillows.

Nearby activities: It's a island so don't expect everything but they have a lot from Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot. During peak season it may be hard to get into some of the restaurants but off-season your ok.

Food & drinks: Starbucks, Dunkin donuts ect ect are all a short drive away”

“OK, it is not a 5 star hotel. As many have said, it needs a face-lift. We had the rusty bathroom door hinges and a difficult entry door. But not the bed bugs, musty smell, or pet issues (I refuse to stay in a pet friendly room) that others report. Water pressure was awesome and king bed was quite comfortable. It's location, location dude. Direct access to the beach, a tiki bar and an indoor pool for anyone that comes to the ocean and then not swim in the ocean. Front desk staff was swamped but still pleasant. Some people complain about the $10.95 buffet breakfast, but just an apple fritter across the street at 7 eleven is $2.49. I felt we got what we paid for in a destination like Nags Head.”

“There is nothing fancy about this place but it was just what we needed. The condo had a kitchen (sparsly stocked; no cutting board) but we managed. Clean. The room had a jacuzzi. We overlooked the pool area a short walk to beautiful beach. We went late April early May. It was 75 to 80 sunny and empty. Peaceful beautiful ocean beach. What more can you ask for?”

“Stayed here for a long weekend and had a really great experience! Check in was easy and maintenance was very friendly. Location couldn't have been better. We were right next to the pier which had a great restaurant we went to every day and very close to Jockeys Ridge. The room was studio style with a small kitchen and bathroom which served exactly what we needed for a 3 night stay, although could have updated appliances for longer stays. There was also a nice beach front patio that we enjoyed sitting at in the evenings to look at the stars. It was exactly the kind of lowkey and quaint beach front place we were looking for. It felt like being at home and not a hotel. There was also a pool, free wifi, free ice, and easy parking. They also allow pets for $25 a night if you want. Will definitely book here again!”

“We stayed during Labor Day Weekend and everything was just as pictured. Sherri, the lady up front was super nice and helpful. We stayed on the 3rd floor and enjoyed having the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. Having a toddler with us and the beach so close was a huge plus! Ive read some of the other recent reviews and unsure what some were as the hotel didn’t have things like a hot tub or garden??? This is definitely a place we would stay at again! Attached a photo of our view from room 314”
