Health Care For Pets Hospital
312 Banner Farm Rd, Mills RiverMy Chihuahua, Winky needed extensive dental surgery requiring a bone graft, this had to be completed by a dental surgeon out of state. Dr.Weaver was supportive and helpful in getting this referral for me at this very busy dental surgeons office within a month. Dr.Weaver may have saved my dogs life as she prevented a very bad outcome had this surgery not been done. She also put up with my many question's and consternation about this procedure.
I think the biggest support was her gift of listening.
Dr.Weaver has done the follow up exam and will continue to follow my dog, who is doing wonderfully.
Dr.Weaver is an excellent and caring Veterinarian. I cannot say enough about the expertise and caring that she and the wonderful staff have provided. I am in awe I found her and the wonderful folks in the office to provide such quality and care.

She’s anticipating all the fun she will have I guess! Staff is very responsive and caring. When going somewhere new you always worry about your fur baby, but I don’t worry anymore, her expressions toward staff and being there speaks for itself. It’s her vacation when we take a vacation!

Bold Rock Mills River Cidery
72 School House Rd, Mills RiverWe had so much fun at Bold Rock. We came on a Saturday afternoon after a hike and enjoyed a fall day sitting outside. Most of our group ordered the burger and loved it! I got the chicken sandwich and it was also great. They have a wide variety of ciders (perfect if you normally don't love a super sweet cider). They have some classic sweet, dry, and spunkier ones. My favorite was the roast (a coffee cider). Sounds weird, but it's fantastic. They also had beer and cocktails. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space - the perfect spot for an afternoon with a group.

46 N Mills River Rd, Mills RiverGreat atmosphere even right beside the highway. Super family friendly with good food and some non-alcoholic options as well. My 3 year old loved the play set-up as we had lunch. They've done a great job and beers are still delicious. Similar vibes to the one in Boone.

100 Sierra Nevada Way, Mills RiverI have to say I was completely surprised at how amazing this place is. Initially, when our friends asked us to go I thought "oh another brewery... Ok" but this is anything but just another brewery.
The food is outstanding! Every single dish we got (which is easy to do because of their shareable plates) was delicious! I especially loved the Brussel Sprouts, the Apple & Ham pizza and the Horchata Tres Leches.
I don't drink alcohol but their N/A selection was great!
The atmosphere is great. It's a huge space but it still somehow feels cozy. It was cold and rainy when we went but I'd love to go again when we could appreciate the outside area as well because the grounds are stunning.
Our service was beyond phenomenal. We had a party of 6 and didn't have to wait for a table at all. Our waitress was super attentive.
This was really a fun spot and I can't wait to go back.
