“This special store is a step back in time. If you need a hardware item and you don't want to waste your time sitting in traffic on Hwy 150, check here first. This local family owned business is 124 years old. The owner, who was born and has lived in Mooresville all of his life, is 92 and still comes in every day. Definitely check this one out!”

“I was to attend a wedding reception not far away from this store on Saturday. On the way in to the reception, my daughter got the heel of her shoe caught in a crack in the pavement and broke the heel completely off. As the bride was a friend of hers, I gave her my shoes and took the broken shoe back to the car to see if I could figure out a way to make a temporary repair. I ended up at this store. I must certainly have looked ridiculous dressed up and hobbling into the store wearing one high heel and one shoe with no heel at all. The people working could not have been more helpful. I was escorted to glue aisle and got help reading labels and considering relative drying times and how long it would take me to have viable footwear. Instead of ruining my evening, the shoe incident made my day.”
