“Pinedale Food Mart has the absolute BEST fountain Pepsi in eastern North Carolina and the ice for their fountain drinks is awesome. Their water goes through 7 filters before reaching the fountain drink station. The employees are helpful & very friendly. I love this place!”
“I also cannot say enough good things about these folks. After a nightmare experience with another company, I called to have the ground leveled, a new tank put in, and fireplace connected. I was very pleased with how quickly they came out, and Chris was absolutely on top of everything! He was very professional and knows his stuff! “Exxon has just recently opened this particular facility,is very nice, with sufficient snacks for all travelers;at conveniently moderate pricing. Exxon fuel,of course, is high quality & you never have to worry about engine damaged; stemmed from poor fuel refining or watery production.The bathroom stays very clean & the Staff is always sweet. My friends,as you know, happy comfortable travels are a must & always remember the family's safety comes first...”

“I had given 5 stars than I had to take one away. Now, it's not that I don't think it's a good convenient & gas station. Most of the time, the customer service is great, and everything I need is available. The minus one star is for the " most" of the time. Unfortunately there has been, only less than a handful of times...where the service was a problem. But, the employees that were an issue are now gone. So, I haven't had anything but great service in a while.”

“This she'll is actually known by the locals as Merchants Grocery. They have a small grill and make great cheeseburgers, hot plates, etc. You can get fishing and hunting license, rent kayaks and they have a boat landing. The grill is open for breakfast and lunch and are usually very busy. Lana and Casey are great.”

“It's a gas station. I never go inside. Always pay at the pump. Sometimes my Speedway card won't scan or the ALT ID option isn't available for me to get my points. Other times at the pump, it doesn't read my debit card. This has happened at all the New Bern locations at different times. Happened at the MLK location on 2/3/24. Left & went to Glenburnie location.”
“Your able to access from the hwy & has plenty of parking spots. It's normally not busy so you can get in & out quickly. This location has a car wash, two vacuums & air tank which is convenient. However their gas prices are usually higher than the store up the street. The selection of merchandise is limited.”

“I went in the store to get cigarettes th tall dark skin girl in which I wished I look for her name why is she working there she just stood there at looked at me like what you want I had to just tell her didn't open her mouth,I said hello and she didn't speak so I said it again and she looked again and said hello nasty after I got my cigarettes after she bought three my change in my hand I told my son I won't be going in there again and she is not the only one that never greet the customers but she has no business dealing with customer I won't go in there again because next time I know I will say something the worse that I have had to deal with”

“Behind a gas station, a block from my hotel, lay this jewel of a convenience store. It's the epitome of a small town store and I loved it. They display a bunch of unique snacks and food, in addition to a plethora of wines, beer and champagne. But the real gem is the case at the front of the store next to the register that holds the HUGE homemade truffles. I did not get a picture of them all because I ate them too quickly, but I got the banana split, the pb fudge, strawberry something or other and they all were fantastic. I went back to bring some home with me. Would go back solely for these truffles.”

“My husband’s truck broke down yesterday and instead of taking it to his usual VERY EXPENSIVE, SLOW mechanic we had it towed here where we go for our inspection! The truck was fixed quickly and runs great, staff is very friendly and the mechanic was great! His usual mechanic said it would take a week to repair and the price quoted was ridiculous. I got it fixed here in two hours and saved a lot of money! This place is great, thank you!! Customer for life!”
