“Great place to learn how to windsurf! Family owned great prices. My friend and I were sailing within 30 min of our lesson. Burton and Reider were friendly and very knowledgeable about different water sports and the Hatteras Island area. They extended our lesson with another hour and didn't charge us any extra money for it. The sound behind the shop was great place to learn - warm waist deep water and good wind conditions. We are looking forward to going back to learn kiteboarding there next.”

The setting was beautiful, the accommodations were excellent, the food was excellent and getting to know Brendan and having him for a coach was exceptional. “First time surf fishing -needed a lot of help and schooling on how to even cast properly. Dan sat with us for about an hour setting our poles up and sharing a lot of great knowledge on the sport. Don’t go anywhere else if you’re looking for tackle, this place is the best of the best by far.”
