“This is obviously a well maintained type of country store. It's a bit in the country and a bit near the city. I saw a lot of foot traffic while I was here. Even saw two gas customers. The gasoline prices are acceptable for the area. Inside this place was admirably clean and well stocked. Really good stop!”

“This is a really nice enough store. The big problem is this location isn't in what I'd describe as a Five Star one. This place did a brisk business while I was there. For some reason the customers could sense that I wasn't part of their community. Must have been the lack of having a red neck and a body covered in tattoos! LOL! Got the evil eye from everyone! Back to more relevant things; the parking was clean and not trashy at all. Prices for gasoline were surprisingly not as high as I expected as North Carolina has a very large gas tax! This stop on the outskirts of Shelby, N.C. and is deserving of four stars. As mentioned; just be aware of what's taking place around you! Ps. I don't mind red necks and totally tattooed people! I just don't like to be outnumbered by any category of folks!”

“Her breakfast menu is a treat of life!!! Ask for the Bologna and cheese sandwich but be fast because the problem with great food like Brackett's has is that it goes quick. All in all great little spot for your convenience.”

“This nice little convenience store is located on Earl Rd. In Shelby, N.C.. It's actually located directly across from a Dollar General. It's got a good supply of both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to choose from. There's a lot of various snacks also. The gas prices are reasonable considering that this is in North Carolina, a state with higher gas taxes than South Carolina. Nice store and I'd return.”

“??⛽Store Management is lost.If you ask they'll say the owners are to Indian guys in Charlotte NC. Truth: the owner is %Native American & Moroccan Towery "Tyree" Maurice Burris. Acquiring the land & building in 2013 when everyone know he received a publicly recognized 1.5 billion trust fund announced on Power 98. He owns an enormous amount of Mercedes & Mobil 1 stock. So he renamed the N. Lafayette & N. Post Mobil 1 stores renovating adding new gas pumps & outdoor lighting. It was announced during Cleveland County NC Board of Commissioners City Council and Chamber of Commerce meetings during 2013 - 2014. MikeGreat location to serve the surrounding community.There have been concerns over property right records”

“This is ur one stop shop.for all ur farmNeeds and the coldest beer in Shelby.Eddy,Jamie and Ginny r experts with thier knowledge on products and usage,not to mention some of the nicest people u will ever meet.I've been a customer at the storeFor years and the vibe there reminds me of that t.v. show "cheers", everybody. “I loved the food and the service was really great. They have almost everything at your convenience from grocery to beer, tobacco, etc. at a price that are competitive with the other stores. The food will have you licking your fingers and I have heard changes are comeing soon for the better. I will definitely be coming to get me fried chicken every couple of days and get some groceries as well!”

“This was a necessary stop for gasoline. It's a very clean store inside and outside. It's located directly beside Hwy 74. Easy in and easy out. The gas prices were a bit more than I like to pay but it was necessary if I didn't want to walk for fuel. The interior of this place was well stocked and the floors were clean. The gasoline prices here are pretty well aligned with their competitors! The gas tax in N.C. is higher than in my home state of S.C. I would make a stop here again.”

“Ok so if you go to the WEST D ST CVS PHARMACY, you can expect to be treated with kindness and respect!!! Sheila the Pharmacist IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! The ladies that work the store registers are absolutely amazing as well! I have NOTHING bad to say about this CVS! If you've had a bad experience, then maybe it was just you having a bad day! I have those often.....so it's just life. But if you're respectful the Pharma& Store personal WILL BEND BACKWARDS TO FIX AN ISSUE, KJT”

“I stopped by one night not too long before closing time. Even at that time, I was greeted by a friendly employee who offered to help me if I needed anything. I found an item that I had been unable to find at other stores. It was even on sale! The cashier checked me out quickly and efficiently. I was in and out of the store in minutes.”

“I like this Walgreen's quite a bit. It definitely is very conveniently located and I've never met any staff who were not insanely friendly. I stop here most days after my lunch break to walk around a bit. I collect action figures and Walgreen's has really started offering a good selection of action figures geared towards collectors like myself. This location usually has a decent selection (although sometimes stuff sits on the shelf longer than you would expect) and there are always really good sales going on. It's definitely one of my frequent go-to places and one of the nicest Walgreen's stores I visit.”

“Kindest most wonderful human beings. Our family was on a hike and it's a hot day. One of us couldn't make it so we drove to the nearest thing, which was Village Pantry. We were a nervous mess, my cousin was laid out in the middle of the floor and we were trying to cool her down and help her with her muscle spasms. It was so scary. *Everybody* at Village Pantry rushed to help us without hesitation. They brought us a fan, gave us ice, water, and Gatorade. They called the ambulance for us. They didn't leave our side and they gave us full human brotherly/sisterly love. They really took care of us. We will never forget their kindness. Even after the ambulance came, they checked on the rest of us and how we were holding up. Sweetest kindest people ever. Beautiful lovely humans. Thank you for all of the kindness you showed us.”
