“I shop here often. Around twice a week. The staff are always friendly & helpful. I have even special ordered cases of food like skinny pop pop corn from them because often they are out or there is only 1 bag left on the shelf.
The smaller size store compared to the nearby large Walmart has a great selection & I can get what I want quickly as well as get discounts with my MVP card. Wal-Mart shopping is exhausting as it feels like I have to walk miles from the parking lot to get what I want & then get out. I highly recommend shopping at Food Lion for your grocery needs.”

“I shopped at this Food Lion this week. Due to the bad weather we’ve had, they were working hard to restock ahelves. I asked a young man named Zachariah about a product I couldn’t find. He kindly went into the back and brought out exactly what I was looking for. I thought this went above and beyond. It’s so nice to find kind and helpful people like him!”
“Great prices especially if you compare to Walmart (which is <1/2 mile away. The bakery fresh produce options are great.
The only weak area is the meat selection. I try to use their options every so often and yet Walmart, Food Lion, Lowe's Foods (the best over all and they have a actual meat/ seafood counter)are just constantly better.

“Great small grocery store! They have a pretty big frozen foods selection for such a small place. Their shelves are packed full of many good things. Sometimes you can catch some really great deals (not to say their prices are bad, they are really fair!) I got some instant coffee with coconut milk that was like super cheap and also small 6 pack cartons of coconut milk I wanna say for like $5/5. You can tell it's family owned, so definitely a great business to support!”
“This is one of those small town places that just does things right. The hot dogs are always fresh and loaded the way you want them, and the potatoes from the kitchen in the back are unreal. The owners and staff are great people who actually take pride in what they serve, and it shows. Easily one of the best stops around.”

“Listen, I don't usually write reviews unless I've had a life-changing experience or eaten a suspiciously good bag of off-brand cookies. In the case of Walmart Neighborhood Market #7206, both of those things happened.
Walking into store #7206 is like entering a parallel universe where everything smells faintly of fresh bread and your wallet gently whispers, “Thank you.” The floors? So clean I questioned my entire life and briefly considered lying down in the cereal aisle just to absorb the vibes.
Let’s talk layout. It’s like someone said, “What if we made the most logical store design in the entire multiverse?” and then actually did it with these split frozen aisles. I found everything I needed—plus five things I didn’t but now deeply love.
The employees? Not just helpful—legendary. I watched one employee guide a confused man toward the dairy section like they were leading Frodo to Mordor, but with more grace and fewer orcs.
And don't get me started on the prices. This store isn’t just saving me money. It's actively trying to rebuild my financial self-esteem. I walked out with enough groceries to last me a week, and somehow I still had enough change to hit up the taco truck next door (also 5 stars, but that’s another review).
Special shoutout to the self-checkout machines that didn’t judge me for buying three different types of frozen pizza and a single stick of deodorant. This is a judgment-free zone, and I am thriving.
In short: Archdale Walmart is a masterpiece. A sanctuary. A temple of snacks and savings. If you haven’t been yet, go. If you have been, go again. If you’re reading this from inside the store, congratulations—you’ve made it to the promised land.

“By far the most authentic Mexican food I have found in the area. They have a small selection of bottle beer from Mexico and Bud, BL and Mich Ultra. The service is good.
