“My husband and I shopped there yesterday, not too long before their closing time (without realizing it). We loved their curated selection of merchandise. While some of the prices might be higher than at the cheap discounted souvenir shops, it seems that they offer quality merchandise, but also more unique. But overall, everything was reasonably priced. We also prefer to support local businesses, and it was nice to chat with the owners. They were quite patient, especially as I interrupted my shopping to run back outside to admire the sunset and take pictures. This was a great experience and we'll definitely go back to Duc's General Store next time we'll go to OBX”
“It's the place you need when you need it! Been going here for years, and it's really your last, best stop when you come on to the islands or before you leave them. Five stars for longevity and being open when I needed you! Prices are island prices, but you can't beat the location. Watch out during the summer because this place gets BUSY on the weekends!!”
“On a very cold and extremely windy early morning, I was leaving the Outer Banks and stopped here for gas and coffee. The attendant was very friendly and the coffee (ground and brewed on the spot) was a hot treat on such a miserable morning!Pumping my gas and cleaning my Jeep's windshield and windows were no easy task in that wind, but at least I had a hot cup of delicious coffee and an invigorated start to a 600 mile trip!”
“I frequent this location and often see Sharon at the helm. She is very pleasant always and is constantly doing things around the store while simultaneously accommodating patrons. Sharon is the consummate service person and this location is fortunate to have an employee like her.”

“If you are gonna go to one of the Bru Thrus, come to this one. They have a wider selection of options and the staff is friendly. It's also a bit bigger, more Truck friendly.Lil tip for ya, if they have it, grab the Doc's Cider. We got the pumpkin!! It is legit the best cider I have ever had. We are thinking about planning a trip to Warwick, NY just to visit the actual brewery! I really wanna try the peach!! We came back and bought them out of the pumpkin before leaving town.”

“This is by far the best 7/11 I’ve visited. There are several on the outer banks but this one is the only one i go to. I only visit the other ones unless I’m about to run out of gas and HAVE to go there. The manager and assistant manager at this location are amazing. They remember people and greet them by their name and make you feel welcomed. I always have nice conversations with the employees working. I love the buffalo chicken rollers and this location always has them stocked and ready. It’s always clean, organized, and well stocked. They notify me of deals and cook me food on the grill if needed. Love that they are open 24hrs since i work late some nights. They are truly the best!”
“Tracy, the store manager was very helpful during a recent cropped picture issue I was having trying to do some gift magnets. He literally stopped what he was doing to help me for at least 1 hour, if not more. We were both stumped for a little bit but he was determined to find a way to make it happen. It just so happened to be for a very special occasion I was getting the gift for so I appreciate his extra dedication ensuring it all worked out. Everyone in the store is always generally very happy and helpful. The only one that can use some work is the young fella in the pharmacy with facial hair. He does not seem to want to be there at all and it seems it is painful for him to be helpful. Thanks for the great customer service, Tracy!”
“In the chaos re: Covid shots, at 80 yo and being someone who gets Covid shots, I discovered not my CVS nor my pcp Beach Med was THE PROBLEM- that was go north on 95 and stop at HHS ! Fortunately, my CVS tech advised me which steps to follow to get a script for the shot and when to come back — and she was right - very professional and knowledgeable about this chaos ! I’m glad I have this CVS working so well on my behalf and also working well with my local medical office ! Kudos!”

“I was on vacation in the Outer Banks and forgot my preventative migraine medication that I take every day. This was an emergency situation! After calling my doctor's office in Virginia, and straightening out a very inconvenient and stressful situation with my insurance company it all eventually worked out. I don't use a Walgreen pharmacy at home. I go to an independently owned pharmacy. However, the staff here was kind and patient, and I appreciated all they did for me. Thank you! :-D”
“Just wanted to share that when I got my weekly fill up last week, an employee was checking all the card readers. He said it was to make sure they were not tampered with. Great to see how proactive this station is to prevent malevolent cc scanning!”

“Very nice new and updated 7-eleven with all the new nice coffee machines we love. Really well stocked inside with snacks and drinks and food. Gas was fairly priced and cheaper here than in Virginia Beach!We were able to get snacks and drinks for our trip back easily and grab a "bougie" coffee to go. Friendly employee at the register and spotless bathrooms wrapped up this visit.”
