He was exceptionally responsive, maintaining clear communication with me throughout the entire process. His professionalism extended to working directly with my insurance company to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Even in near–tropical storm conditions, he made sure I got home safely and assisted me in retrieving whatever belongings were accessible from my vehicle.

“I drove up in their driveway a few days ago. Daniel walked right over I told him I need a new battery. He not only installed it very quickly but also noticed the battery terminal was bad and replaced that also. Very nice and friendly. Such nice folks in the office also. You definitely don't have to wait for someone to assist you like going to a parts store. You also get a warm reception and ethical service. Better price also than traditional parts stores. “Driving from northern Virginia to coastal North Carolina when I heard debris thrown around in the left front wheel well and accompanying tire pressure drop to 1 PSI. Limped the Tesla to them for a look. We had much fun making fun of people that buy cars without spare tires and keys and such (ie me). After probably less than 20 minutes I was out the door and back on my way.

“Great way to start the New Year, our tire blew out while passing through Wilson on New Year's day. The tow truck driver recommended Dennis Jones and his team at Firestone. Even though they were extremely busy and booked all day, they were able to find tires to fit our car and get us back in the road quickly.
They had excellent, courteous service and even went so far as to put tire shine on the tires to make them look their best. Can't recommend them highly enough.”

“My jeep engine was making a loud clicking sound. Bad tappet/valve lifter design, common problem. Dealer wanted $$$ to replace the tappets and said the cam shafts would most likely be gone and they usually replaced them anyway, $$$$ . Mike at Rouse Automotive did it for far less and didn't need to replace the cams. Jeep is running great! Excellent service, courteous mechanics and a couple of friendly dogs! But you need to be patient as they are busy and it took a few days to get to my car. Also, its a mechanic's garage with engine parts everywhere, not a dealer showroom. Highly recommend!”

“I took my car to get two new tires and get the rotors turned. I was told up front that there would be a wait, and there was, but that was no problem because I had been told in advance. Unfortunately, the Wendy’s next-door has a no firearms on premise policy and with no way to secure my firearm with my vehicle being in the shop, I walked back and was on the phone with my mother considering DoorDash for lunch. The manager overheard me ask about having food delivered and offered me a ride across the highway to get myself something to eat. He was very courteous about the situation and I appreciate his accommodating. He was incredibly respectful and comfortable to be around. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and kept me updated on the status of my vehicle around other appointments and walk-ins. Fantastic customer service and I’ll be returning for the other two tires next month!”

“The team at Baker automotive is ideally located for locals who need expert mechanical work on their vehicles. On some larger repairs it may be in your best interest to go to a dealership, but I believe Eric is more than capable of handling almost all repairs of older vehicles and new as well. I had a truck where the engine had died and the cost to repair the vehicle was more than the vehicle is actually worth and Eric was straightforward and forthcoming with his estimate. We actually did not decide to do the repairs there and instead sold the car for scrap or the truck rather.But up until that point, Eric has been great.”
“Awesome experience. Took my radiator to another shop in Rocky Mount. The staff was rude. The estimate was very High and they didn’t think they could help me after they inspected the radiator but said would try but would be responsible for a cleaning and diagnostic just to tell me if it didn’t work. I took it to Arts, dropped it off. He called me a day later and said it was finished. Awesome experience, wonderful customer service, fair pricing. I’m happy with my experience at Arts!”
