“Decided to take a drive out to the country today and ended up in elkin. I saw this market and had to stop by because it looked very intriguing. I'm very glad that I did because it was amazing. The store has a variety of vegetables, fruit, honey, and jams. The owner was a very nice gentleman. I can't wait to try out these new jams that I have never heard of before. I will definitely drive out here again just to go to this market. The prices were great and reasonable.”

“Great little gas station that has big assortment of products u might need on daily basis plus a deli in back that u can place a order by phone to have HOT And READY by the time u get there.. Feel like family there and everyone knows u if u go there alot like me since I live right down the road... Great food, good prices, an even have stuff like some automotive/home /cleaning/hot and cold foods/ATM/Lotto/gas/propane/Huts Pizza, and SO MUCH MORE... I RECOMMEND THIS STORE AND THE DELI INSIDE TO EVERYONE AND ANYONE I CAN PERIOD... CHECK IT OUT!!! U WON'T REGRET IT!!! (P.S. TELL THEM I SENT U!!! LOL?)”

“I love the way it is set up now. It's an adventure trying to learn where everything is again but worth it. I think the isles have a little more space, and check out is so much better. Some people don't like self check out, but I love it. I am not patient at all, so doing it myself with no wait is perfect. I also like the fact that the new system will let you know if an item is recalled. My Vienna's had been recalled, and the system would not allow me to even scan it alerted the store associate, who was also very nice and helpful. New Dollar General is a 5 for me.”

“I was walking and needed a rest,..anyways stopped and set in front of this little store and this lady from the window on. The little kitchen side personal insisted on buying me a meal. This lady went to her car and handed me cash from her own pocket and told me to buy me a meal. This is genuinely an amazing establishment and the owners / employees are beyond courteous. Love this place. 5+ starts for me.!!)!”

“Would give more, but the bathroom was filthy. The restroom was covered in pubic hair after an employee walked out. While the rest of the staff were relatively friendly afterwards, that same employee who walked out of the restroom proceeded to insult a customers autistic child. I was shocked and appaled by this employees behavior and will not come back.”
“If you're in the area this is a must stop shop. Go in and say hey to Michelle and/or Tina. Nicest people I've met in a while. Oh and don't forget to grab one of their fresh made sandwiches.”
“I live in Ronda and I go to the Dollar General a lot. I'm usually in and out fairly quick. They do have really busy times that you may have to be in line for a bit. But overall the people are nice and have always answered any questions I have had. They have had times they were out of milk but lately they have everything I needed and wanted at a good price I have been to many many Dollar General in a lot of different areas and it definately is far, far from the worst and with a little work , could make it the best. But as before It is a great place to get what you need , close to home at a good price.”
