“Great little gas station that has big assortment of products u might need on daily basis plus a deli in back that u can place a order by phone to have HOT And READY by the time u get there.. Feel like family there and everyone knows u if u go there alot like me since I live right down the road... Great food, good prices, an even have stuff like some automotive/home /cleaning/hot and cold foods/ATM/Lotto/gas/propane/Huts Pizza, and SO MUCH MORE... “Great local grocery store, and I am very lucky to have them near by. They often have great prices on quality meats and produce, and the store stays stocked with a large variety of name brand and generic products. Due to thier size, a lot of the name brand products are pricier than competitive stores, and they do not have as much variety, but they do have a friendly staff that is eager to help. The 4 stars is not to deter people from shopping there, but because there are areas to improve. I would give them 4.5 stars if I had the choice.”

“So much stuff in there that I would fill up the entire lift of characters here telling you everything in there from your own Vape supplies to even more tobacco related products. And snacks to keep you going including the gas station outside of. Don't hesitate to stop in and fill up and top up on your flavor of choice of Vape.”
“I live in Ronda and I go to the Dollar General a lot. I'm usually in and out fairly quick. They do have really busy times that you may have to be in line for a bit. But overall the people are nice and have always answered any questions I have had. They have had times they were out of milk but lately they have everything I needed and wanted at a good price I have been to many many Dollar General in a lot of different areas and it definately is far, far from the worst and with a little work , could make it the best. But as before It is a great place to get what you need , close to home at a good price.”
“The gas pumps are usually slow but I'm telling you they have everything a typical gas station has plus it's entertaining ? never a dull moment at this store I promise you there's always something going on here if not give it a few minutes”

“Standard Dollar General experience. They have been leaning heavily on their one self checkout register lately (I'm assuming due to lack of staff) this isn't so bad except that it's a very slow process especially when assistance is needed and the person can't be found. However, they have put a sign on the door stating this is what to expect, so I guess that makes it ok.Bathrooms are gross, as per dollar general standard. One is always broken (we assume that's the employee bathroom) Prices are better at Walmart of course, but for the time saved from having to drive to Walmart most things it balances out. Service is hit or miss. Some of the employees are super friendly and really try their best to meet expectations and others act like it's the end of the world that you've walked in. 7 days before Christmas and they were still trying to get the Christmas items out. They've been struggling with keeping staff, so I don't know if it's a management issue or what. Don't go in if you're in a hurry, but aside from that you'll get about what you'd expect from DG.”

Also I’m confused as to why there’s only one register open at a time and there’s 10 to 15 customers waiting to be checked out…”

“Stopped in for some basic groceries while camping in the nearby State Park. I was greeted warmly with an offer to help me find anything - he may have recognized I'm not from these parts. We had a nice conversation while I walked around the store, and I found all the items I was looking for. Of note, firewood was 1/2 the price offered at the State Park from the same supplier. And the owner even loaded it in my car...
As others have noted, the locals all know each other, and the owner greeted almost everyone by name as they walked in or came to the register.
