“I came here because I really needed a place to park. They don't have a lot of space, but they do have some. I went inside to inquire whether they charged for the parking, and they do not. Not only do they not charge, but they were two of the nicest people I have met in years. They recommend the restaurant next door, which unfortunately for me had just closed. She said they also do breakfast. Very nice and helpful. I really hope if you are coming pass this way, please come in and buy a little something to keep them in business, or at the very least, to say hi. I highly recommend stopping here.”

“The most friendly gas station clerks in town. They keep the store wiped down several times a day. Shelves always stocked. There pretty fast as far as the lines go, unless one of our older vets are in line. But that's ok he's earned his spot there as long as he needs it.”

“Good and clean environment with lots of great snacks to choose from! I’ve stopped there multiple times so I’ve had a chance to try a lot of their deli food and snacks! By far the best is the BBQ sandwich and the donuts! I’ve noticed the donuts are made fresh daily so they are always nice and soft. Despite being in there so many times, every time I do go in I always come out with something I hadn’t tried yet! One of the best things about this place though is the staff! They are always helpful and smiling. Every time I’m in there they are always working hard but also having a good time with each other. They honestly seem like one big happy family working there! (I wish I got along with my coworkers like that!) I wish I could rate this place 10 stars because they definitely deserve it!”

“Mountain Energy is a Shell Oil Company gas station and Convenient store. They have Public Restrooms, cold drinks and a Dairy Queen Ice cream and Hamburger shop. We love using our SHELL DISCOUNT CARD and getting 5 cents off each gallon of gas we buy. I just wish that the Prices of Gasoline would come down so it wasn't so costly to fill up your tank ?”

“The only convenience store on exit 100. They are fairly well stocked with the basics. They have a few dingding machines. There usually always busy and you'll likely have to wait for a gas pump. The parking lot is pretty tight so pay attention when backing out or circling the pumps. Easy access to the bypass. Get a scratch-off if your feeling lucky.”

“It's definitely a truck stop no frills here baby, I hate to read reviews that punish a business because they feel they didn't get the "auto spa" experience they were hoping for - well again sweetheart this is a truck stop where the smell of diesel and urine in the parking lot may be more prevalent than fresh cut flowers and potpourri so don't step in any puddles if you're wearing open toe shoes. This place was functional and performed pretty well, trucks, buses and diesel RVs getting their fuel fix and following the protocols is standard operating procedure - I always have to go inside and pre-pay then return for the receipt of what I actually pumped, this is how it works at a truck stop. I stopped in to top the tank and got off pretty easy the guy before me pumped five hundred and sixty three dollars into his Peterbilt. I thought the aisles at the fuel island were a little narrow and could use a good cleaning but everything worked as designed and the high volume nozzle filled my tank in only a few minutes. The staff here was super friendly, maybe they are partial to truckers and maybe since I pump diesel fuel and use the fuel counter they think I'm a trucker too lol. They have all the normal truck stop thingy stuff - hats, belt buckles and skoals can lids made of sterling silver so after circling the property and exiting onto the highway it's hammer down like I had wings little gravels in my wheels going ting ting ting...”

“A Sunoco gas station on the way to Maggie Valley. Plenty of pumps and parking. A banana, or Sour Patch Kids. Budweiser or Monster Mean Bean. They can accommodate either. Get your Viceroy's and a hotdog. $7.75 in Unleaded if your returning from Harrah's in Cherokee. I hope you get home. No she won't let you hold another 20. You should have stopped playing slots.”

“This is one of the places I actually frequent, my girlfriend and I always get the best service on third shift, and it doesn't matter which team you get, Blayze and Christina's shift, or Justin and Liz's shift, we always get great service, they're friendly and helpful, I almost never give a full 5 stars, but this place is on point. Also, been in on first shift for drinks or gas and can't say anything negative about my experience.”

“The pharmacy technician was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. She took to the section where the medication I needed was. She explained the differences, and what they were used for. I wish I remembered her name, as she is an excellent employee. Walgreens had the product I needed. The sore is clean and well laid out. I would not hesitate to shop there again.”
