“This gas station /snack grill is a pleasant surprise located on the outskirts of Monroe. I happened upon this establishment one morningand was surprised when I walked in there was a little grill to the right of the front door. Although I was on a diet I could not refrain from ordering their homemade bacon egg and cheese sandwich cooked on the grill. Also the bathrooms were very clean. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to stop in and see what else I can try from their little menu.”
“I love the Sam's Mart located on 3215 Queen City Dr. The food served here, is not only delicious. But also the money-maker! What's sad is the neglect of the parking area . And overall lack of care. For a "convenient store" the prices are awfully high. Especially for feminine products. I hope to see tremendous improvements to this location.”

The inside is well-stocked, and customer service is good, making it a one-stop shop for all my travel needs. The free air is also great, although the air pump has been out of service occasionally. “My prescriptions are filled on time, and pharmacists are very helpful. I have always received help when resolving typical issues at the begging of the year when insurance plan changes and something suddenly is not covered anymore (yeah, big thanks to health insurance companies). Pharmacists assist in finding an alternative and/or coupons to make these prescriptions affordable.”
“Quiktrip generally has good gas prices, although sometimes you can find cheaper. Every one I’ve been to has non-ethanol gas, which is good for power equipment. Also, the convenience stores are pretty consistent in what they stock everywhere I’ve traveled. I like knowing I can always get my favorite drinks and snacks.”
“Remember when gas stations used to be a place of community with great home made food at cheap prices? Back when you could get a coke, some food, and sit at a window table and read the news or people watch? This is that gas station. The lady behind the counter is always smiling, and eager to serve you some great tasting food. I know it's simple but something about this gas station nourishes your soul and reminds you of home. Places like this are all too rare these days.”

“Very clean store went always see the lady there cleaning. This store is very clean and the men's restroom needs attention, she let me use the ladies room lol most places do not but she did dooles to her ( good job manager she's a keeper) I asked her to help she said she would take care of it rite away. I think she said her name was Anna can't remember but very friendly & super smile everything looks so clean and smells so good ?. I own a small business and I give this place a 7 for the looks really picked up over the weeks. Good work to the management.”
“All too often, people rant on CVS, mainly because the reasons are justifiable. But not enough people go out of their way to complement their local CVS. This particular location doesn't feel like just another part of the chain. I feel like this is a personalized drugstore from back home. The store is clean and has a great staff. The pharmacy people are helpful and fun to interact with, even when they often seem understaffed. If waiting in line is the extent of your problems, consider yourself ahead of the game.”

“I stopped here last Tuesday and had a slice of pizza. I had lost my job that morning to the owner's son. The son had just gotten out of jail and the dad wanted to keep an eye on him. So I got booted. He told me this right before he started to hand out the first quarter bonuses, which I didn't get. On my way to the car a man called out my name and before I could even answer he put an envelope in my hand and told me I had been served. Apparently my wife filed for divorce. Since I was supposed to work a double today she had me served. Of course, as luck would have it, I left my wallet at home that morning with my credit cards. So all I had was $48 dollars on me. When the process server drove off he spun out and shot a rock right through my windshield. This was 7:30am. I drove home and luckily my wife's car was gone. But unluckily, she had the locks changed. So I sat outside and waited. Until the neighbor called the police. I was politely asked to leave by Officer O'malley. it was 9:00am. By 9:30am I was sitting in my local bar. They had just opened. In fact, I was the first one in. The bartender, Jim, was still putting on his shirt from the break room. I sat down and asked the owner for a double of the cheapest whiskey he had. Jim had been my best friend since highschool. I called over that he wouldn't believe my day. But before he could answer me, my wife came out from the same back room still adjusting her skirt. She said "You guys were both animals this morning..." The owner said he didn't want any trouble and told me to leave. At 11:00am I was sitting in a park watching two squirrels have sex. I was thinking that I will probably never have sex again. Then two teenage boys came up and asked for a cigarette. As I was reaching for my pack, a third kid came up behind me and hit me in the head with a skateboard. I blacked out. I woke up because a dog was peeing on my bloodied head. It was 2:00pm. The kids had taken all my money, my phone and my keys. And I'm pretty sure a homeless guy had taken my shoes. Because mine were gone and a pair of loafers held together with newspaper and twine were laying near me. The dogs owner said sorry without looking up from his phone and walked away. I got up sat back on the bench. After an hour, the blood stopped flowing and I decided I should go back to my house to see if she would let me get some clothes, money, and shoes. So I started my 8 mile walk in my bare feet. About a mile in I stepped on a piece of broken glass. Another mile and a guy threw an empty beer bottle at me. About halfway I was treed by a dog. He did get ahold of my pants and he ripped most my pants leg off. I was two miles from home when that same cop from earlier drove by with my wife in the front seat. I watched her head dip down before they took the tright into my street. Finally I arrived out front of my old house. Just as a Salvation Army truck was driving off with all my stuff. It was 8:00pm. I walked to the corner. I went into my local 7-11. "Mr. Q, is everything ok?" "My wife filed for divorce today." " Was that today?" " You knew?" " We all knew, she has been having affairs with everyone in this town" " Everyone?" " Everyone" He said with a wink " Oh...." " You look like you're having a hard day. Can I offer you some day old pizza we were about to throw away?" " Yes please" And the pizza was pretty good. It was my first time eating pizza from a 7-11. The crust was thick, but still light. The sauce was sweet. I would have liked a little bit of spice to it, but it was still delicious. Perfect amount of cheese. It really made my day. Thank Heaven for 7-11. 7-Eleven. 4/5 Stars. Minus one because of my wife and all 6 employees there.”

The store is brightly lit and well organized. Cosmetics, greeting cards, over-the-counter medications, snacks, drinks, personal care items and all sorts of candies.
