“One of my low beam headlight bulbs went out when I was driving from Cary to Ocean Isle Beach on May 15th. Google Maps indicated the Whiteville store was the closest to where I was on the road at the time, so I headed there. I got to the store very close to closing time, but Paul was very kind and helpful to me with purchasing and installing the light bulb. I was grateful that I wouldn’t have to drive the rest of the way to OIB with only one headlight! Thank you for the great customer service, Paul!!”

“I dont normally post but my experence with Auto Parts Express has been postive . These old timers have alot of helpful information , Plus a full machine shop in the back. The retail area is not neat but it is jam packed with serious tools and parts for for big trucks. I enjoy just seeing what I can find. This man has been in business sinse the 1970,s . And through two floods . If you want purple winsheild wipers or cheap china parts you might not like it here .”

“I wanted to express my appreciation to, Alec. He was able to get a part for my SUV that the local dealership said wasn't available and couldn't be fixed. I wasn't willing to give up on my SUV that only had 55,660 miles on it so I did a lot of calling and thanks to a referral from Chris at Black's Tire service I was put in contact with Alec at Carquest. Alec was very helpful, found the part that was needed and preprogrammed, and was very understanding and professional. Thanks to him I got the necessary part and Chris from BTS was able to install it and got my SUV running and back on the road! Thank you, Alec for all your help!!”
“The guy was very helpful and courteous, although they have to it was awesome he went out and changed my wiper blades for me in the pouring rain and I offered a rain jacket to him but he wouldn't take the offer..

“My family and I were traveling on I-95 at 9:30 at night (we are not from the area)…when one of our tires was losing air fast. We called Mike’s and they arrived within 15 minutes and plugged the hole in our tire within 10 minutes. We were back on the road in no time. The man who helped us was the nicest person! We are so thankful for what he did for us!!! Thank you so much!!!!!”
“8/22/25 visit. The young man tested my battery he said it was weak and didn’t really need to replace it. I called my son he asked what the amps were. My son said mom you won’t be happy if you don’t replace it. So the young man installed the new battery in my suv. I appreciate the young man not trying to push for me to purchase a new battery. Which was the first thing hubby thought, I immediately corrected him. That it was me that wanted the new battery. After its been changed, no more problems starting my suv.
