About Hertz Car Rental - Wilmington Nc - Airport Blvd - Wilmington Ap
Hertz Car Rental at Wilmington Airport Blvd offers a straightforward and easy rental experience. Customers appreciate how quick and simple it is to pick up and drop off vehicles, often spending just a few minutes at the counter. One reviewer enjoyed choosing a mystery vehicle and was pleased to receive a fantastic 2025 Dodge Ram Rebel, which enhanced their trip. The staff is seen as helpful and knowledgeable, with one employee acting more like a manager and providing trustworthy feedback. In challenging situations, such as waiting for a clean car after a long day of travel, staff members go above and beyond—one even worked hard cleaning cars to ensure customers had vehicles to use. The company offers free upgrades, such as from a sedan to an SUV, which customers find exciting and a great way to start their trips. Rates are competitive; one customer reported saving around $400 on a 9-day rental, with a total of about $420. Although some concerns about hold deposits with debit cards exist, the staff’s friendly and professional service helps make the process smoother. Overall, Hertz Wilmington Airport Blvd is praised for its helpful staff, ease of use, and good value, making it a reliable choice for travelers.

The Agent and the checkin desk was friendly and encouraged us to look over the car for scratchs, dings, etc. so there would be a no-problem return.
The car ran well. Most important - the windshield wipers we as good as could be and the front window clean & clear.
