“We originally rented a car from Avis which was a disaster. We needed a fairly large vehicle for 5 people, one of whom had a wheelchair. After Avis screwed us, we went over to Baker’s. They had a car available - perfect size, and really came through for us. Customer service was excellent and when we ran into more travel issues with canceled flights, they were amazing. Since we had rented from them before, they had all of our info and we were able to get another car last minute with no hassle or complications. Wonderful service - highly recommended - they were great!”
“Alamo rental is my go to. They always have vehicles with Different size options. Vehicles are clean and in good condition. Customer service is great Especially in Wilmington, Airport, gentlemen, who checks in the vehicle is always right there, accommodating and very helpful”
“Castle Hayne, NC location is great and has wonderful staff, however they did need more staff. The phone was ringing off the hook and there was a line. I asked about it and they said this was an everyday occurrence. So just plan for maybe a 15- 30 minute wait. Not horrible at all for the great service and product.”

The car ran well. Most important - the windshield wipers we as good as could be and the front window clean & clear.”

“Such a great experience! Had a longer rental, 13 days for an unexpected trip, and made a reservation 2 days before. No issues with pick up, the car was absolutely in great condition. They totally understood I had my own insurance and coverage and were always transparent about all the costs and add ons without pushing anything on me. I had to return the car after hours (at 5 am), and drop off process was smooth and easy. Got a confirmation email that everything was good when they opened up not too long after! No mysterious fees at return. :)”
