“This place is an absolute gem! My boyfriend and I went midday during the week and had a fantastic time playing so many different games from when we were younger! This space is fun and super nostalgic, and gives off the vibe that you're over at your best friend's house after school playing all of your favorites! There is such an assortment for all ages, and owner was such a kind, genuine, knowledgeable, and helpful person! Also the prices can't be beat! We are already planning our next trip back! And we definitely recommend trying the handcrafted sodas! So yummy!”

“BAC is AMAZING! Jay and Charyl helped us create the wedding day of our dreams. We had our ceremony in the courtyard which was stunning and had our reception in the beautiful church. The venue is top notch and I can't recommend it enough. We wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else and now it holds such a big piece of our heart. Highly recommend!”

“Enjoyed the curated tour. Lots of neat info presented. The rooms don't have a lot in them, just enough to give you an idea about them. The tour guide was very friendly and walked us through each room. Had a great story-telling voice! The gardens were alright, but I'm honestly not a gardens person. They have a self guided tour and a printed out guide where you can see all the plants that would've been planted in those times. We enjoyed it.”

“I photographed a very intimate wedding here last weekend, and was absolutely amazed by their event director, Leann. She was SO helpful in what could have been a stressful situation (it was a very small wedding and the bride didn't have a planner or any bridal party, it was very hot and we definitely needed a spare pair of hands!). Leann was there to hold the flowers, she brought cold water to the bride, brought a chair for the bride, fluffed the dress, held out the veil- she literally was a life saver. I know Figure Eight Island Yacht Club prides themselves on the service they provide, and Leann was proof of that - she had excellent attention to detail and consistently anticipated what the needs of the client were before she was even asked. If I could give 10 stars I would - top tier client care!!”
“The Arab Club is very helpful to to contributing to helping children who have a lot of medical problems fire burns all different kind of problems and I have seen it firsthand with children that have come into the Shriners and the money goes to the hospital to help take care of those kids and they are very blessed to have all these people who are just loving them as much as the shine clothes does”

“Very nice and clean. Reasonably priced at $10 and a nice place for a leisurely walk. Though there were quite a few butterflies throughout the grounds, the butterfly house itself did not have a single butterfly inside it - a disappointment. The Arlie Oak is magnificent!”

“From the moment we arrived, we were wow’d by this hotel. Incredible staff! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly. For our anniversary, they gave us a bottle of wine for the room. That was such a thoughtful touch. Rooms were very spacious and clean, loved the LG TV!
Breakfast/coffee was really good and a perfect way to start the day. Pool was a perfect temp! This is the perfect place to stay in Wilmington if you’re wanting to be close to both the beach and the downtown area.
Also, the social hour they have Monday-Wednesday is incredibly well done! Great variety, especially considering it is complimentary. I couldn’t imagine staying elsewhere in Wilmington. Big thank you to the amazing staff and management!”

“The best venue and team there is. I planned my wedding from Maryland which was a little stressful to say the least, but the Bakery team made it such an enjoyable process. They never made me feel like I was asking a silly question and were with me every step of the way. The guests at our wedding raved about the venue and all of the event staff working the night of our wedding. The venue is so beautiful; the brick walls make any photo look stunning, the lighting is amazing, the courtyard is full of greenery and character, the Cottage right next store is so convenient and you can sneak away at any point to get some photos by the river! I can’t imagine going with any other venue. Thank you Bakery from the bottom of our hearts! We won’t ever forget our special day because of you and your venue ❤️”
