“The Co-op is the best grocery store in Yellowknife, hands down. Their selection is top-notch, the produce and bakery items are always fresh, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and competent. They even stock Torani syrups, Greetalia's Honey Dill Sauce (Shout-out Winnipeg), and Mr. Donair.
I've done price comparisons with Independent and for a standard grocery list I would maybe save $5-$10, but with a much worse shopping experience.
I honestly cannot imagine why anyone would choose to shop elsewhere, unless they wanted a specific item from a specialty store (like Northern Fancy Meats).”
“It's just another grocery store. Not big but have a great selection of groceries.
Fresh fruit and vegetables, deli section for hot food, self check out.
Remember to scan for PC points.

“Love this store. It’s big, spacious, clean and has everything you need from groceries, kitchen accessories and even a clothing section. The produce specials run out all the time unfortunately ( strawberries were in special 2 weeks in a row and every time I came it was emptied out). Love the self scan check out which is quick and never has a line up. Also love the bakery section with good variety of wonderful bread and baked goods. It’s a shame it’s a far walk for me otherwise I would go more often.”
