“I love the bulk barn - great for trying new stuff, finding obscure items not available in the regular retail grocery store outlets. I want 3 bay leaves? I can buy just 3 bay leaves. They also have discount coupons all the time and seniors discounts that always help. Also great as a secondary health food store. Very useful, wish there was one in Dartmouth Crossing.”
“I usually go to the self checkout. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, except for the older fellow with white hair and glasses... he is never friendly. They could use two people there during busy times.”
“I have been shopping at Millcove Sobeys for over 30 years and have generally always been satisfied, however, over the last 6 mos to a year, suddenly there are things simply not available. For days to weeks at a time, I could not buy green onions. The shelves were bare, yet a neighboring Sobeys had an abundance of green onions available. Other times, no lean ground beef or boneless chicken breasts, all very regular things that shoppers are expecting to find.
I expect more from the store I have been committed to for such a long time.”
“AMAZING MEAT MARKET !!! Prices are very fair, ive been given generous discounts by employees in the store countless times, even a free cookie the last time I went. Staff are wonderful, friendly, and above all a huge help. Meat is A+ quality, and is sold at a very reasonable price. I believe 4 whole pounds equals out to less then $28. Overall, better quality, better service, better prices, and more care put into the craft then any other corporate, or even local shop in town hands down. Shop at Bailey's or your missing out guys.”

“When the British shop announced they were coming to Nova Scotia, I was gutted to see they were opening in Bayers Lake... still, it’s always been worth the drive. Just before Christmas they mentioned I could now find the pies here as well... which was fantastic news. I honestly never expected to see them in Superstore... I always assumed if anyone else carried them it would be Pete’s. Being able to pick them up locally without making a special trip is a real bonus and it’s great to see a local gem getting this kind of support. Steak and Guinness is a real treat!!!”
