“I was a couple hours from home at the hospital in Halifax. On the way home, someone's windshield wiper got caught up under my car. It was 5 minutes to closing time at the Canadian Tire auto centre in Lower Sackville when I phoned in to see if they might help me. The service technician I dealt with was incredibly kind and encouraged me to come right away. I was so grateful. It didn't take long, but I was able to drive home in the rain and the dark, safely after a long day at the hospital.”
