“I called Matlins after my truck was throwing codes for a couple things including my transmission. They were extremely knowledgeable and told me that sometimes a transmission code can pop up when something is wrong with the engine. They advised me to change out my spark plugs for my particular code, and see if that fixes the transmission issue. It worked, and I didn’t even end up needing to take my truck to them.
They could have told me to bring it in ASAP to make some quick cash, but instead, they gave me advice on how to fix it myself. I will absolutely be going here if I ever end up with transmission problems. It is hard to find a good mechanic, but these guys are great.”

“I highly recommend this shop. Their prices are very reasonable, and they truly care about their customers instead of trying to upsell unnecessary repairs. They only recommend replacing parts that genuinely need to be replaced.
What I appreciate most is their honesty and professionalism. If two repairs require the same labor time, they do not charge extra labor unfairly just to make more money. That kind of integrity is rare to find.
