“I know it's Christmas but the aisles were so jammed full of merchandise you couldn't even properly look. The racks were so full you could not spread the clothes apart to see what you were buying and people were sticking the hangers back and not properly placed which made everything look so messy. The cashiers are the best there and the wait time wasn't bad.”

“Friendly & welcoming employees (which is rare these days). Clean store, nice selection, cute home goods & clothing as well as having staple items for health, beauty, & pantry items. I enjoy shopping at this store- I grab a Starbucks drink & take my time looking around at everything. It's also easy to quickly grab something if you don't have time to look around (but they display everything so nicely it can be difficult LOL). My favorite cashier is a retired teacher- I cannot remember her name - my girls in I go to her line even if it's the longest. She is so sweet AND she categorizes your items together. She always makes my day!”

“Stopped into the Walmart gas station that I didn't know they had to purchase a slushy. The ladies at the counter were so nice and kind. Katy was training on the register and she rung up my order with the gift card I had and she did a great job with her trainer who helped her. The place was clean and just pleasant and welcoming. This definitely will be my go to area Walmart and station for the future.”

“This Walmart used to be a five star one but it's gone downhill a bit.My review is in 2 parts, what I like and don't like about this store.What I likePrices/Availibity- if you live in Avon Lake, this is really it for a good place to do most of your grocery shopping, the local giant eagle is just horrible and over priced, similar case for everywhere else. When I need something- anything at all- and I don't wanna drive too far, I go to this Walmart.What I don't like-main complaint this new method of checking out is just horrible. I really wanted to give 3 stars from this single fact, the 4 is for all the good years here, but they now have a massive conglomerate of 30 self checkout lanes, and when you are buying more than 10 items, they really, really suck. They're really meant for small purchases but now they are the entire checkout, I don't think they have a single conventional cashier. I am spending 15 minutes ringing myself out working when I'm already beat from work or just shopping. When I need to buy alcohol I have to wait to get scanned by a clearly annoyed manager, same thing for using a gift card, and also same for using most coupons. I no longer enjoy talking to the people ringing me out, which is a thing I really like to do. The checkout is just horrendous, that's really it for this Walmart. it's a ton of work and it makes you appreciate baggers and cashiers. Not to mention they probably layed off 40+ workers and replaced them with computers, very sad to see this stuff in general with how our economy is doing.”
