    “Kathy at the Avon Heinens in the wine section is an absolute star! We needed a specific wine for a client site visit, which apparently was way harder to find than I realized. Kathy made it her life’s work to hunt it down for a week lol. She conquered the challenge and had it in the door 6 days later. She was so helpful and kind- if you need to find a specialty wine- Kathy is the best. Thank you, Kathy!!”

    “So I live in avon ohio and thats where I do most my shopping. So naturally i’m going to check out Drug Mart because to give you a little background I actually have been going to Drug Mart for the past 20 ish years. I still remember when I was a little kid, i would BEG to go here so I can pickup a fun toy to play with such as cap guns with my brother, or to buy a pack of pokemon or magic the gathering cards. They have school supplies, water guns, you name it. You used to be able to rent dvd movies from them back in the day! Now since im older, I get my prescription from there. My mom also gets one aswell so I took her here recently because it was senior day and my oh my she just about bought up the whole store!!! Were talking stocking up on batteries, all kinda of boxes dry foods, some frozen chicken and lots of canned food. She was a happy camper. This is another store I hope always stays here, I feel like drug mart is a staple in any city.”

    “If you are a household of one or a couple, you should consider joining BJs club! They have much better value and selection than Sams or Costco for the smaller size family. You can use ANY manufacturers paper coupons! Or use the app to clip manufacturers coupons within the app and you will get the discount at the register. The parking lot is calm and accessible. I just gave up my Costco membership as I found shopping there was growing increasingly stressful. The parking lot is so crowded you need your head on a swivel. And the employees there are not as nice as they use to be because they are busy policing people who are using someone else’s membership to get in and shop. Overall the shopping experience at BJs is better than Costco or Sam’s Club, and they have discounted gas and fabulous deals on tires at this location!”

Then again if you are browsing the close outs then you will be there for a bit. The lines more fairly quickly that's before they installed the self check outs.”

    “Stopped into the Walmart gas station that I didn't know they had to purchase a slushy. The ladies at the counter were so nice and kind. Katy was training on the register and she rung up my order with the gift card I had and she did a great job with her trainer who helped her. The place was clean and just pleasant and welcoming. This definitely will be my go to area Walmart and station for the future.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
