“Saturday morning was cold and rainy. My favorite breakfast place failed to put honey dew in the fruit cup. So, I came to Heinens for their lovely produce. I wasn’t sure how to tell if it was ripe. I asked a produce worker for assistance and he kindly began to squeeze melons. I must say, the one he gave me was perfect. Jolly good show!”

“$30 fell out of my pocket and one of the employees found it, watched the security tape to see who dropped it, found me still in the store, and returned it to me. Hard to find honest humans sometimes these day so shout out to him, I did not catch his name!”

“I don't want to tell you this because too many people might change its success. I ordered pick up grocery service and it was wonderful! James came out to my car quickly, refused to take a tip, and did a wonderful job packing my groceries into my vehicle. I have a broken heel so this made life so much easier. Because I must say they don't usually have many handicapped automated carts. That's something they need more of. James kudos to you!”

“BJ's is our go-to for a Club Warehouse. It has most of the selection Costco has, but none of the overcrowded parking lots or store. It has free food samples, bakery, bulk food/ household necessities, clothes, and decor. The only thing BJs does not have is a food court, and that's okay with me. They even take manufacturers' coupons and have their own digital coupons! Win!”

“Love Marc's and have shopped here for years. Please correct your hours in Google! There are no more senior hours. Yeah, I know, I should have called and verified before getting up and leaving at 5:30am to beat the Thanksgiving rush.”

“Of course this is another my go to places. Either I'm shopping for the week or just need one ingredient that I forgot, on most days your in and out real fast. Then again if you are browsing the close outs then you will be there for a bit. The lines more fairly quickly that's before they installed the self check outs.”

“I have been a customer of this Drug Mart for many years . I have never had a problem or issue with them. Their cashiers and other employees are friendly and eager to help when needed. The pharmacists and Pharmacy employees are top-notch. I wouldn’t use any other Pharmacy.”

“Out of all the Walmarts in Lorain county, this one has their stuff together. I drive here from Elyria, and could easily go to the chestnut commons Walmart. This particular store is my preference.”

“This Walmart used to be a five star one but it's gone downhill a bit. My review is in 2 parts, what I like and don't like about this store. What I like Prices/Availibity- if you live in Avon Lake, this is really it for a good place to do most of your grocery shopping, the local giant eagle is just horrible and over priced, similar case for everywhere else. When I need something- anything at all- and I don't wanna drive too far, I go to this Walmart. What I don't like -main complaint this new method of checking out is just horrible. I really wanted to give 3 stars from this single fact, the 4 is for all the good years here, but they now have a massive conglomerate of 30 self checkout lanes, and when you are buying more than 10 items, they really, really suck. They're really meant for small purchases but now they are the entire checkout, I don't think they have a single conventional cashier. I am spending 15 minutes ringing myself out working when I'm already beat from work or just shopping. When I need to buy alcohol I have to wait to get scanned by a clearly annoyed manager, same thing for using a gift card, and also same for using most coupons. I no longer enjoy talking to the people ringing me out, which is a thing I really like to do. The checkout is just horrendous, that's really it for this Walmart. it's a ton of work and it makes you appreciate baggers and cashiers. Not to mention they probably layed off 40+ workers and replaced them with computers, very sad to see this stuff in general with how our economy is doing.”
