“Even tho I'm exhausted from all this emergency booking last minute I have to SHOUT OUT KYLE that was working tonight. He seriously took the time to make sure I had everything booked, gave me comfort and assurance that everything will work out and went above and beyond my expectations. He was so knowledgeable, personable and because of that phone call I am so glad I picked this hotel. I can't even begin to tell u w a family emergency unplanned how efficient he was. He seriously needs a raise, kudos, award EVERYTHING!!!! THANK U KYLE for answering the phone and being the best example of customer service U ROCK!!!!”

“My real rating would 4.5 stars if i could
Pros:
Staff was very polite and helpful
Rooms are interesting(at least I thought so)
Beanbag is a interesting choice(I definitely didn't get stuck cause I'm too fat and old)
Locations is pretty good 30 mins airport and plenty of food options nearby 10 mins or less
Cons:
wifi not the greatest
Connections are solid but speeds are not great(IT is my business and why I was there)
Walls are pretty thin(which hey it's a hotel so not something unexpected)
The only real complaint
Is the HVAC was pretty loud and rattled nonstop anytime it was on
Woke me up on several occasions(and I get cranky with no sleep)

But all said I would stay again”

“This hotel is charming. The view from the breakfast area is lovely and there is a cozy fireplace. Our room was clean and comfortable. We did not hear any of the other guests. My one complaint was that the room as not dark enough because the lovely blinds let in a bit of light through the cracks. Black-out curtains that actually closed and were not just decorative would take care of that issue. Breakfast was pretty good though I would have preferred a pitcher of half-n-half to the plastic creamer pods.”

“We were there in 2018-19 . My husband needed 33 radiation treatments for thyroid cancer and we lived 3.5 hours away. We were very Blessed to be able to stay at such an inviting, accommodating and Beautiful place! No need for TV's in the room. Visit with others in the dining room. Share experiences, stories, ideas and hope! We have made many friends.
Although my husband has done well, his cancer cells have metastasized and needs 15 more treatments.
Once again, we are blessed to be able to enjoy Hope Lodge. We are on our way now.”

“Easy check in, I was upgraded to a junior suite, very pleasant greeting at the reception. My suite was impeccable, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Intercontinental Cleveland Clinic’s location is perfect as it’s attached to the clinic. Food at the Table 45 Restaurant is very good. Hotel’s staff are very friendly and professional. Overall, a great experience.

Rooms: My junior suite was spacious with a walk in shower and bath tub.

Nearby activities: Perfect location for business at Cleveland Clinic.

Safety: Very safe

Walkability: There is no need for car as it is attached to Cleveland Clinic facilities.

Food and drinks: Breakfast buffet is very good at North Side Cafe. The dinner menu is excellent at Table 45 Restaurant located on the ground floor.

Noteworthy details: Pleasant and professional staff.”

“Adriana is typically there during my late check ins she's always thorough and helpful the team there in general is great. Cocktail hour is relaxing it's a great atmosphere overall.”

“We celebrated our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding at The Club at Hillbrook this past weekend and are still basking in the glow. Hillbrook is the most gorgeous venue that we could ever have imagined with its Old World charm, terraces, rolling lawns and the impossibly beautiful teahouse garden where the marriage took place. We had cocktails on the lawn, dinner by candlelight on the terrace, and danced until midnight in the pavilion -- each area perfect in its own way. The wedding party spent the night in the suites upstairs -- and the bedrooms were also quite lovely. Gina Carlson was wonderful to work with. The staff was excellent -- and the food was delicious. Highest praise for Hillbrook!”

“This is one of those special hotels that is awesome because of the people that work there. Every interaction I had, from checking in, to breakfast, to checking out, the people were warm and friendly. It was a little farther away from why I travel to NE Ohio, but I would go back again in a heartbeat because of the people. Kudos to management for instilling such a positive and warm culture.”

“I had a poor experience at another hotel in the Cleveland area. I had a late flight and really wanted to settle in. However, the other hotel was so disappointing and filthy that I left a couple hours after checking i - and after trying four or five different rooms.

I sought a place to go to at 3am, decided to try switching to the Hyatt brand-- and found a Hyatt Place in a shopping/ living/ dining area. I called. The phone was answered by a friendly, alert voice who confirmed that rooms were available. I had not unpacked... so I informed the hotel that I was leaving and went to Hyatt Place.

Enough about the old place and terrible experience:

Regarding Hyatt Place:
If/when I return to Cleveland, this is where I stay.

The front desk professional- because that was her demeanor- welcomed me, got me checked in.

The property is clean.
The sheets and room were immaculate.
No frayed carpet.
Door locks worked.
Housekeeping team was friendly and helpful. In fact all the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs

There was free covered parking.
The adjacent restaurants and coffee house, etc, were extra convenient ( and there was breakfast and coffee at the hotel)

- All for roughly the same rental rate as the other place, that is supposed to be "upscale".

And- it was clean (Did I already say that?) and welcoming and quiet and well maintained.

Isn't it surprising that those things seem like extras at a hotel???

I had a busy few days- and I appreciate and say , " THANK YOU " to the staff for the pride they take in making hotel guests feel comfortable enough to rest in a clean, comfortable environment.

“Room 133 could use some minor repairs. Otherwise clean comfortable and relatively quiet. Nice big breakfast available if you want it. The gym appeared to be well equipped and the pool/entertainment areas were neat and tidy.”

“NO bugs. Clean linen, water was COLD AS HELL and when it did heat up it was lukewarm at best, this is not for longterm stay, you will be comfortable if it's only a night or two or a single person, does have a microwave and fridge, very limited channels was unable to hookup firestick, does have wi-fi, bathroom is standing room only very small and hard to move around, located across from multiple restaurants and shopping center”

“The room was comfortable and equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. Unfortunately, the TV signal was pixelated. The breakfast was excellent, and guests could make their own waffles. Free parking.”

“My stay of nine days was great. The only complaint I had was that the ice machine on my floor was not working. Which meant I had to go to another floor to get ice. On the other hand I want to compliment two front desk workers, Kaitlyn and Mo. I mistakenly left my bag with my laptop at the desk. I was driving in a snow storm on my way back to NY and received a call that my bag was left. The roads were too treacherous to turn around, and I was almost about to enter 80East turnpike back to NY. So, Kaitlyn secured my bag and Mo went above and beyond when he took my bag to FedX and had it shipped to my home, which I received in two days. You all know how critical our laptops are to us. I am so grateful for their care and the due diligence of Mo. Thank you and Blessings always.

Rooms: Comfortable, king Size bed
Spacious and clean room.

Safety: Felt very safe coming in and out of my room and the front entrance to the hotel. The parking was so convenient.

Food & drinks: I never got to experience the breakfast hours. I'm sure it was fine.

Noteworthy details: Kaitlyn and Mo saving my laptop.”

“Checked for bedbugs & I was surprised not to find any. 2 summers ago I did. Unfortunately it was after i slept already.. I bounced with the quickness! But not b4i got my $ refunded! Always check right away for bugs & the filter inside the air/heater. Should be changed or washed at every rm cleaning!”

“Rooms were nice and clean. Conveniently located for my bowling trip. It breakfast on Sunday morning was supposed to be available until 10 am. They ran out of eggs and refused to make more. Coffee ran out and it took forever to get more but it was finally ready.”

“It's very pet friendly!!! The manager Mike is very caring and helpful. Mike goes far and beyond for his customers!!! The rooms are always clean!!! The motel is walking distance to restaurants, bus stops, beauty salons!!!! It's very peaceful here and the staff is so amazing!!!!!! I will recommend this motel to everyone!!!!”

“We visited the Cleveland area to do all the touristy things, and this hotel was perfect as our home base. Fifteen minutes to the zoo, 20 minutes to the aquarium, and 15 minutes to the candy warehouse made our weekend perfect. Lots of chain and local restaurants nearby make this spot great.

The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Evening reception was super crowded, but our first night was good. Ran out of EVERYTHING by the second night. Salsa without chips, etc... But we are already thinking of returning on, maybe not a holiday weekend. ?”

“3 of us on bike no reservation just stopped for the night to get out of the rain we got a room it had two beds so we were playing rock paper scissors for who had the chair ( no caught) when the manager said we all win and gave us another room with a single bed at no extra cost!”
