It's 3 miles from our home and our other Kroger is only a mile away from the house; still, we make the weekly short trek to New Albany as this store is better stocked than the other one so it became out tried and true go-to store. Plus, it's on the way to our doggie day care we have more than one stop and it is between our home and where my parents reside in their assisted living in Granville so it became our stop for them since July. Great, great, great consistent staff. Very friendly. Very professional and fun despite this awful time in our country. I will admit when this store was undergoing renovations about a year or so ago, I hate it. There was absolutely no method to the madness where items were temporarily placed. Thank God we hung in there. Now we use both Krogers close to the house. This one for our weekly stop and the other as it has a liquor store inside when we need fresh bottles for our home bar! :)”

“This Sunoco is a regular stop for me. A likely family owned neighborhood gas station. Located at a high traffic intersection you would expect vagrancy and trash all over the property. And your assumptions would be....WRONG! (Gotcha, you thought I was going to be coy:) The property is clean and even the folks down on their luck in the area(full time pan handlers) are respectful and don't loiter. During the pandemic they were a consistent service to the community by being open and doing their best. When our neighborhood lost power during record heat, they moved their ice coolers out front and kept them running with generators. The only issue I've found(not their fault) is the limitations for entry and exit. Expect a bit of a loop if it's not on your side of the road or you need to change directions after your stop. Otherwise, more like this please. In an economy and climate where the standards for "good help" are at a record low, you will find people inside who take pride in what they do. Often a greeting upon entry and a smile at checkout. A bit older building, well lit and kept up. Kudos folks”
