I cannot tell the girls that they are going until the moment we’re ready to leave because of the excitement and yowling, which continues in the car until we arrive!! She cares for them as if they were her own, and we would never trust them with anyone else! Them loving to go, speaks volumes on how they are cared for when they go to see her and they feel amazing when they’re done and they love to show it off!!!”

“Truly a won shop stop for pet wellness and enrichment! Was able to speak with one of the owners on my last visit and they shared their vetting process for every product from toys and harnesses to treats and food. Incredibly wide selection of pet food in all forms raw, wet, frozen, and clean, gently cooked kibble to fit all budgets. Don't forget the dog wash station across the parking lot. They even recommended local holistic veterinarians for me. Such a blessing to have in Northeast Ohio. Can't think of a reason to shop anywhere else.”

“The sweet vibe of a hole-in-the-wall pet store in all the best possible ways, including friendly and curious doggos behind the counter. As mentioned elsewhere, the owners are *incredibly* friendly and so so helpful. They will go out of their way to find solutions for your pet problems. I could get food off Amazon for cheaper, but some things are worth the extra money, and the care and attention of the staff here is WORTH EVERY PENNY! Not to mention being good members of the community, often showing up to fairs and fests with goodies and coupons.”
“Always a great experience! The prices always beat competitors and team members are reliably helpful and kind. This location has great inventory without being overwhelming and had what I needed for my dog, cat, and chinchilla. I haven't used the pet washing station but it seems like it would make bath time a less tedious experience than doing at home. And they partner with a local shelter so you can help out and pay (donate) for some food/supplies for the shelter animal of your choice! Such a great store. Thank you for all you do for pets and pet parents!”
“I love Lake Erie pet food probably more than my dog friend Bruce. When I say, “are you hungry for food?” He runs to his bowl ready to feast on his fresh local kibble made in Cleveland (I think that is the correct way to describe it). The main ingredients are chicken and rice.
I love it because it is delivered to my door on a monthly schedule. It is easy for me to adjust if I want it to arrive the next week or a week earlier.
Incase of an emergency I can always run down to Ohio city and pick up a bag which rarely happens (unless Bruce the dog is visiting my parents and they over feed him).
There is no cardboard to recycle due to the burlap bags the food is delivered in. It can then be given back to them or they will pick it up the next time they drop off food.
The Cleveland area is on a rotation to reduce carbon emissions from cars. How cool is that!
I used to run around to buy large bags of dog food. This is significantly easier.
Also, the dog friend needs less food due to the high quality :-)

“BEST fish spot to go to! Dave and Adam have always been so helpful! They helped me start and maintain my cichlid tank, even helped me save a fish that was struggling in my tank. I get all my food and accessories there. I wouldn't get cichlids anywhere else! They know everything about cichlids and other fish. Highly recommend if you're serious about starting or adding to your tank!”

“I want to recognize the staff member that helped my daughters and I get gerbils on Sunday 2/22. I believe her name was Megan (hope I got that right!), and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She truly loves animals and it was a pleasure to be helped by her. We looked at them for a while before getting them and I witnessed how hard Megan works to look after the smal animals and fish in the store, keeping their needs met until they find the right home. I was impressed by the siamese gerbils, very neat looking. All of the animals and fish there were cute and healthy looking! We were able to find everything we needed to get them started. We are really enjoying our new, and friendly pets!”
“Very helpful! Got me out of a jam when I was halfway through a plumbing project and realized I needed a Moen cartridge removal tool! Highly recommended!? Also, I love having the ability to purchase one or two screws/nuts/bolts. Big box stores only carry packs of 12 or more!”

“I love Petco and I shop there often as I do cat and kitten rescue plus have other pets and fish. Never have a problem, except for one night I came in 45 minutes before closing. I had picked out 3 fish that I wanted to buy. All were in the same tank. When I asked an associate for help(he was stacking bags of dog food right next to the fish area) he said he could not sell me the fish because they were busy and he was told not to do any more fish or pet sales for the night. So he did not get the fish for me. Sadly,I went home without them.”

“What marvelous experience I had as I walked into Petland in Parma. A friendly welcome and ready to show you all the fur babies that are available. I was able to meet Laura; she is the Manager at this location. Charming, friendly and attentive as I expressed my interest in 2 Shih-tzus. I have them for more than 20yrs. Yes, Rockyjoe lasted in my care for that long. I am searching for siblings. She asked all the right question and the awesome responses to my question. We made arrangements to keep in touch since I have plenty of time in the pursuit of my doggies. Wonderful just wonderful!! I met Aubry, I can see she is a busy bee, super attentive to the door greeting customers and overall enjoying what she is doing. Is hard to find young ladies that actually work and doing a great job. All in this location need to acknowledge for their contributions to Petland. Outside on the wall is the name, Petland, however WITHOUT the employees that are there giving face and uplifting the company by their FABULOUS performance WOULD be nothing without them. Just a name on the wall.
How I got to Petland began with a call. Selena was my first contact. She listened attentively as I told her my story. I heard in her tone and voice, how empathetic she was at that time. She is like the walking computer of the place. Her knowledge and passion for was she does was noted. I thought she was a manager. Well, with the wonderful interaction I had with her, left me so at peace and motivated that this group of young ladies and assisting me in finding my fur babies. I see Selena progressing up the ladder to greater things. Aubry also even though I did not have that much of interaction. If you are searching for a 4-legged companion, THIS is the place to GO!!!!! I am so happy and excited to do my business with PETLAND PARMA!!!!”

“my wife and I are getting a Burmese mountain dog puppy and to be frank we had absolutely no clue on where to start AT ALL! looking around I found an employee which was the stores pet trainer named Ty. I asked her for help because we knew nothing about puppies and where to begin and let me just say she was EXCELLENT like above excellent with helping us from food to shampoo to toys and everything else. every question I had every statement I made she had a response and an answer to even an explanation behind her answer. She was truly a blessing to my wife and I and to be honest needs a raise for sure! We will be shopping at this Petco every time we need things simply and ONLY to see Ty because she was that great of an employee and that great of a person. WE really appreciate her and I just can't say it enough how helpful and honest she was with us. Thank you Ty!!!”
