“Bought a windshield wiper, and asked the cashier to make sure it was the right one for my car. Yes, I was told, right one, says right here in the database. It was starting to rain, and I was in a hurry, so I figured I’d do it myself at home. At home… it was way more complicated than I expected - 6 potential adaptors, each with their own six-step process with teeny tiny low-res illustrations. Almost went bananas. Went back to Auto Zone with my receipt and the associate was GREAT - quickly figured out the (several) problems and installed it for me. Two main lessons : wiper replacement is not as simple as it used to be, and for goodness sake just use the wonderful service Auto Zone offers. Kudos to the associate who was so helpful on the second trip.”
