“Love the store on corner of Venice and Tiffin Ave in Sandusky, Ohio...I disagree with the person who said there is no dollar deals...they have a whole long aisle of $1.00 products that are great deals...it's the closest store in the far West End of town to buy groceries and misc items esp when you are short on time or too much physical disability to walk through Kroger's, Menards, Meijers, or Walmart...they can be exhausting for those of us who are elderly...the employees have always been very friendly and extremely helpful...kuddos to all Dollar General stores and their employees???”

They have a fresh meat selection, and make homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. And I don’t know how he does it, but his prices are very reasonable. Their hours shorten in the off season, so check before you come if the sun has set.”

“I go to Bassets for Seth.I mean, their groceries are the best around and you can find local and National favorites - but the WINE!!!!!!Serious kudos to Bassets for maintaining his skill set and knowledge library. Seth (their Sommelier) always nails it and is knowledgeable on a broad range of domestic and international wines.An absolute gem for anyone!
