Not rushed and legitimately engaged to teaching and discussing this kitty's needs. The entire staff was inviting, professional, and on time. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone in the area. It honestly warms our hearts to know that there are still vets out there that care about the animals.

Lebanon Equine Clinic
1200 Oregonia Rd, LebanonTruly the best service with a late night emergency with our horse when she had an esophageal obstruction or “choke”. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Holly McMinn at Lebanon Equine Clinic for making an emergency visit and spending half the night in the barn with us! After several attempts she finally got the obstruction cleared. She worked so hard and treated our horse with such love and kindness through the process.
Finding a vet that was willing to come out so late is so hard these days and she didn’t hesitate to help us. Dr. McMinn, we appreciate you so much! You saved our girl for sure. We are so grateful to you for making the trip to our farm!

Ruth has been an incredible teacher and is so knowledgeable about all things dog related and really cares about what she does. She provides you with all the right tools in order to accomplish whatever your goal is with your dog. She is very responsive and always willing to help guide us through any situation that we came across. She went above and beyond with helping us teach our dog!
When we first started with Ruth, all my dog knew was sit and down and we had some unwanted behaviors that we wanted to address. He is now well equipped with a lot of great basic obedience commands and we have seen so much growth in his behaviors and his ability to listen and control impulses. We have also created an amazing bond with our dog through training.
I highly recommend Whole Dog University and Ruth will absolutely be my go to trainer for any future training.
I also wanted to note that Whole Dog University is a small business and I feel like we got a lot more out of training with Ruth than we ever would have at one of those larger corporation ran dog training facilities.

Sit Means Sit Cincinnati
605 Norgal Dr F, LebanonWe enrolled our son’s dog, Corum, in the four day drop off training and personal training on pick up. After the first day we saw an amazing change in him. We are following up with weekly group classes, which he gets so excited with. He loves going to them and we love seeing him doing all the activities and learning how to handle him so when we take him out at home we have no worries. We are looking forward to when we get the nod to go forward to the advanced classes. Thank you so much!

The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are always incredibly friendly. The coffee itself is excellent, but what we love most is that they hire people with disabilities—it’s so great to see a business supporting the community. As an added bonus, they have a super cute Lebanon Warriors school spirit shop tucked in the back! The facility is always well-maintained and the bathrooms are clean. Highly recommend checking them out!

The Crate Room at HVO
5474 OH-48, LebanonOne of my absolute favorite orchards ever and one of the best places for some fall fun! My husband and I try to make it to HVO annually for a fall date day and were able to make that happen yesterday. There has been so many changes and upgrades over the year and it's only gotten better! We grabbed lunch from the snack shack-- a fried chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with jalapenos, queso, and jalapeno ranch with a side of house cut fries AND a tray of loaded beer cheese (housemade) fries with jalapenos and green onions. My husband loved every single bite he tried. The jalapenos were obviously spicy, but so crunchy and had amazing flavor. I usually pick jalapenos off because of the heat, but I nibbled on these the whole meal. The fried chicken sandwich overall was delishhhh. The pretzel bun was so soft. I'm inclined to think the jalapeno ranch was housemade. The beer cheese had too strong of a beer flavor for me, but I am not a big beer fan. We ate on a bench outside and listened to some live music and enjoyed the sunshine. We also got some apple nacho samples and bought our fair share of baked goods. Fritters and donuts were BOGO that day! (hot tip: they often are on Sundays) The apple fritter is one of the best I have ever had. The apple cider donuts are great too. We also got some apples for $2.49/lb (SUCH a good price) and a jug of apple cider (not made there, but still local). Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. Next time, we plan to get food from Dayton BBQ Co who now operates out of an old barn on the property. Their food looks sooo good.

Now, we find ourselves ordering carryout at least once a week. The sushi is incredibly fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced—it literally melts in your mouth. My top picks are the White Christmas Roll, Lebanon Roll, Rock Roll, New York Roll, Eel Avocado Roll, and Salmon Roll. You have to try them all! It’s definitely worth the drive!✨
