    “​Having visited a similar oil and vinegar tasting shop in Columbus, I was already familiar with the concept, but The Olive Scene delivered a fantastic experience. The space is beautifully designed, well-organized, and welcoming. ​What really set this visit apart was the customer service. The team member assisting us on the floor was engaging and knowledgeable, walking us through creative pairings of infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Drizzling balsamic vinegar over vanilla ice cream for tasting was a unique touch that worked surprisingly well. ​We ended up purchasing several bottles—including Persian Lime Infused Olive Oil, Garlic Infused Olive Oil, Black Mission Fig Balsamic, and Cascadian Wild Raspberry White Balsamic—to expand our collection at home. The included recipe ideas were a helpful addition, and offering a military discount was greatly appreciated. ​Logistics Tip: For easy parking, use the dedicated parking garage nearby on E Cottage Street. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys cooking or fine ingredients.”

    “I shop several Giant Eagles. I like this one. It's roomy, not cluttered. The pharmacy is in the far left corner. The customer service counter has lots of activity. I use the dry cleaners. I shopped around, and it has good prices with a two day turn around. It has a monthly discount that I watch for. I use the drop off bag given to me, and drop the bag in the cubby hole. Easy and convenient.”

    “I’ve been shopping at DDM for about as long as they have been in the Chagrin Falls area. I am totally satisfied with every aspect of the business and pleased to know that it is employee owned. You must know that every employee there has always been pleasant, helpful, and respectful to my wife and me who are in our 80s. We are always happy to see the people at the checkout counter, especially Mary. She is always cheerful and we consider her a friend. Even the very young employees have a smile and go out of their way to help us find the sometimes elusive items! The shelves are always well stocked with products from A to Z, and I’m often amazed to find something I never expected to see there. That makes browsing fun, and I often purchase something unique over and above my shopping list items. I have never found parking a problem and never had an issue with runaway carts; they have their own parking spots. Finally, be a thoughtful customer: some employees you are talking with have been there for many hours before you arrived and might have sore feet or a pain in the neck—don’t be the pain in the neck! Say hi to the managers next time you visit, they are really nice people! Cheers!”

    “Giant Eagle at Tanglewood (Chagrin Falls, OH) has amazing an amazing employee who provided customer service like I've never seen. I stopped at this location as I just arrived in town and wanted to order a vegetable tray for my grandson's birthday. Teresa was in the produce section and I asked her about ordering a tray. She took me to the deli counter to speak to the person who makes the trays. Unfortunately that person was getting ready to leave for the day and wouldn't be able to have it done until later the next day - too late for the party. Teresa told me that she would make the tray for me. Together, we picked out the veges I wanted for the tray and she walked over to the cashier so I could pay for them. Teresa took them to the back and had the tray ready within 30 mins. I am so happy that I found Teresa and cannot say enough about this level of customer service! This Giant Eagle is lucky to have her as an ambassador for their store! Thank you Teresa - you made me look good :) I wanted to complete the proper survey but my receipt didn't have a code.”

On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast.
