“We are so, so thankful for the Old School character, kindness, and customer service of Bloom Brothers!
All of our appliance purchases in the last five years have been from Bloom Brothers, and without incident. (We moved into our home in 2005, and in the last few years all of the appliances we installed when we moved in have met their natural end, one at a time, since 2020.)
The day I called to order what I thought would be a 30” white, dual fuel, double-oven Café range, Cody was amazingly helpful, confirmed the details I was requesting, and got the range ordered right away. It even arrived early.
Very shortly after delivery, we discovered an issue with the racks inside the oven. I called Cody, and after some explanation and troubleshooting, he said he was just going to order another range.
Range Number Two arrived with a different manufacturing issue involving the sensor that registers that the door is closed and turns off the light inside the oven. Not repairable—or acceptable with a brand new unit—so again Cody ordered a new range for us.
By the time Range Number Three arrived, we were all skittish and Shannon (manager) had instructed the delivery team to check the racks before it was even loaded off the truck. Good thing, because even with the delivery team being the ones to try, the racks didn’t go into the slots in the oven. One quick call back to the store, and we were told to just go in and we’d figure something out.
When we arrived, Shannon was SO gracious. At that point, after THREE failed attempts to purchase the Café (General Electric), we were confident that the best decision would be to pivot and go with a completely different manufacturer. Shannon was patient, kind, and diligent in helping me find the range that I’m ultimately thrilled with—a 30”, white, dual fuel single oven unit from Fulgore Milano.
The lesson here: While one should have serious reservations about purchasing a Café range from General Electric, one should NOT hesitate to work with Bloom Brothers for a single moment. They were professional, patient, kind, and provided us with excellent customer service.

When I received it and saw that it was incorrect, I replied to the order email asking for an RMA. They immediately responded and said to ship it back and they would ship me the correct one, which they did. No BS, no hassle, no go find the return link and fill out a form or fine print, just respond to the order email and voila. Could not have been easier. That and they were half the price of the corps. “What can you say about such a nostalgic store. Let's see, they have everything and then some, the two gentlemen working there are helpful and just wonderful with great laughter. I think this store carries anything and everything from items you cannot find other places to antiques. I was pleasantly suprised to find good quality lamp oil. They wrapped the glass items I purchased with care. I went back about 60 years when I would go with my dad to the hardware store for nails, wood or screws. . Thank you for the most wonderful experience and bringing back a most cherished memory for me. Wonderful place!”

“I needed a simple flapper for a toilet repair that I have to do every 3-5 years in my home. I went to Ace Hardware and bought the piece after consulting with an employee and showing pictures. When I went to install I quickly realized it was not the part for my toilet. I had to go back to Ace where I learned they did not carry the flapper I needed. Went to Home Depot and no luck there either but a friendly man from H.A.S. Construction also shopping told me I’d need to go to Cleveland Plumbing Supply as the part I needed and had purchased in the two previous stores for the last 15 years was no longer sold anywhere. When I arrived at Cleveland Plumbing John greeted me and was the first person that knew exactly the part I was searching for, got it and quickly rang me up and I was out the door! This is the place to go now! Thank you John!”

“I like MFS Supply but this last rehab property there were a couple of issues that concern me.I manage 3 LLC's that buy properties in NE Ohio. In the past things went pretty smoothly. But this time: 1) no one told me they don't unload cabinets into the house anymore. Wasn't on the quote! When I mentioned this to them they said they changed that during COVID.NO that is wrong. Even my last deliver in April of 2021 they delivered into home!2) the measuring guy made a HUGE error. He did not measure where the 220 volt range outlet was located nor the 110 volt microwave outlet was. Thus during installation they ended up being behind the base cabinet (220) and behind wrong cabinet (110) and had to be moved. We lost a half a day moving electrical.Mostly I'm happy with MFS and Suzanne, April, Jack, Judy and their diligence and customer service.”
