“Home Depot is a great store for what it is, this location is a little dicey. The parking lot needs some work, restocking and organizing items seems to be optional and as far as employees go, they are either in need of more or the ones they do have a really good at hide and seek.”

“I ordered a TLR1 lens assembly replacement from the Brightguy Inc website, but selected the wrong part. When I received it and saw that it was incorrect, I replied to the order email asking for an RMA. They immediately responded and said to ship it back and they would ship me the correct one, which they did. No BS, no hassle, no go find the return link and fill out a form or fine print, just respond to the order email and voila. Could not have been easier. That and they were half the price of the corps. “Some of the staff there is incredibly knowledgeable! This is how a hardware store should be run! My husband didn't catch his name but, there is a shorter,older gentleman working there that is a treasure trove of info! He helped my husband out, and our lawn mower was up and running in a hour!”

“I try to patronize "mom and pops'" wherever geographically I am at that time of need, but especially in the community I find myself living in and spending a majority of my time. That said, I wandered into Wilkes with a question, the likes of which were admittedly ambiguous and given that my knowledge of the English languages' adjectives are nothing to write home about Jack, the apparent owner gave me the time of day and despite not ending up having the hardware I needed pointed me to a close location that had more chances of stocking what I needed. I ended up buying some WD-40, of which I have 5 cans of, from him anyway as a tip of the hat on my way out because it always feels good to wash each other's hands and if we're honest, WD-40 is hobbyists'/DIY'ers cheat code. “They had exactly the bulb I needed. I called several hardware stores looking for a Sylvania fluorescent bulb. No one had it in the size that I needed which was 24 inches except Bloom Brothers. They put two bulbs aside for me and I picked them up and they fit perfectly. Friendly fast reliable service. Glad they are close by.”
