“I don’t often walk away from a rental experience impressed, but this one deserves recognition.
Renting a truck comes with its own built-in stress — watching the clock on your rental window, making sure everything’s accounted for before drop-off, hoping the return process goes smoothly. Between the physical work of moving and the fine print of a rental agreement, it’s easy to feel like just another transaction. That’s not what happened here.
The day after I returned my rented vehicle, I realized my wallet was missing. My AirTag showed its last known location at the U-Haul lot, so I called in a panic just before closing time. Angie didn’t brush me off or tell me to check back later — she went out to the vehicle herself and spent a genuine 10 minutes searching it thoroughly, then flagged her team to keep an eye out in case it turned up elsewhere.
While I was still on hold, I found the wallet myself — it had slipped behind my bed frame during the move. When she returned to the phone to apologize for not being able to locate the wallet, I felt embarrassed to tell her that I found it while she was looking. When I thanked her for going to such lengths, her response stuck with me: she said she just imagined how she’d feel in my position and wanted to do everything she could to help.
As a local business owner myself, I know firsthand how rare it is to find employees like Angie. That kind of genuine care can't be taught. It's rare, and it's exactly what sets someone like Angie apart. She took a stressful moment and turned it into a genuine example of what great service should look like. If you rent from this location, ask for her by name.”

“My complaint is for Uhaul in general. For the 12' x 6' tandem trailer, there is no tongue jack which forces the customer to lift the tongue without mechanical support. And you have to pull trailer around everywhere once loaded. I won't rent again for this reason since it's intentional!”
