The Metropolitan at the 9, Autograph Collection, is a cool and fancy hotel located conveniently within walking distance of many restaurants and bars in downtown Cleveland. The building itself is impressive, with lots of things to explore, including multiple on-site dining and drink venues. These include Centro restaurant, known for tasty and quickly served food like the phenomenal short rib and Tuscan chicken; the Ledger Bar, described as the best lobby bar; The Vault, a unique bar in an old bank vault with a mob-like, classy, and opulent vibe; and the beautiful Garden of Eden rooftop bar, which offers stunning views of the city. Guest rooms are often described as awesome, amazing, spacious, large, and beautifully decorated with romantic and comfortable amenities, though some guests noted issues with cleanliness and very old, slow TVs. The staff is consistently praised as incredibly welcoming, attentive, friendly, polite, and professional, making check-in a breeze. Valet parking is considered worth it. The overall experience is wonderful, with excellent service. The various bars are great for drinks, offering a classy atmosphere for a night cap or date night, though drinks can be expensive. The venues feature beautiful spaces with plenty of seating, including private options, and are kept clean. While the rooftop can be packed for events, and mini-bar items are very expensive, the hotel is highly recommended for a comfortable and luxurious stay.
I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were clean and updated. One negative, drinks at the restaurant and bar are expensive even for a hotel, imo.

The hotel room's bathroom is not actually its own room. The shower and the sink are located next to the bed, with no wall in between. There is also no desk to work from.
