Best Western Suites offers a mixed experience for guests. The hotel features a spacious breakfast bar and an old-style staircase in the lobby, which some guests found charming. Many guests were pleased with the size and cleanliness of their rooms, and the proximity to nearby shopping and dining options was a plus. However, some guests encountered issues during their stay. The lack of carpeting in the rooms made the space feel colder, and the free movie channel had no free movies available. Safety concerns were raised, as there was no wall-mounted handle for entering and exiting the shower. Additionally, the trip to the ice machine was described as "precarious" due to a malfunctioning door. The hotel's amenities, such as the indoor pool and hot tub, were a disappointment for some guests, as they were closed for maintenance during their stay, despite being advertised as available. The pool area also had a strange odor, and the hot tub water was discolored, with a thick layer of grime on the walls. The staff's friendliness and professionalism were mixed, with some guests reporting excellent service, while others found the staff to be rude. One guest even encountered difficulty when trying to check out late. Overall, Best Western Suites offers a varied experience, with both positive and negative aspects. While many guests enjoyed the spacious rooms and convenient location, the hotel's maintenance and customer service issues seemed to detract from the overall experience for some visitors.
The pillows were completely flat. We asked for more and they said they didn’t have anymore. Breakfast was great. Just the building in general is old and outdated.

Margaret is a very helpful and friendly desk clerk. She saw to our issue and helped solve our problem without delay. Got to an upstairs room and will no doubt enjoy the rest of our four-night stay. Thanks, Margaret!
