About Furniture with a Heart Thrift Store- Columbus
Furniture with a Heart Thrift Store is a thrift shop operated as a social enterprise of the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio. It offers a large selection of quality furniture, home décor, sporting goods, clothing, and more at affordable prices. When shopping here, 100% of the money spent goes directly to the Furniture Bank, which helps around 3,500 families in Central Ohio each year by providing essential furniture and home goods.
Customers appreciate the store’s variety and organized, clean environment, with many finding great deals on high-quality items like sofas, furniture, and vintage pieces. The store is known for its helpful and friendly staff; some employees are attentive and kind, making shopping experiences enjoyable. For example, shoppers have found perfect furniture pieces, such as a low-cost, comfy sofa, thanks to the staff’s assistance with loading and carrying items to their vehicles.
However, experiences vary. Some customers have encountered staff members who are less helpful or complain, and loading hours are strict, often closing 30 minutes before the store, which can be inconvenient for those with full-time jobs. Prices have increased over time, making some items less affordable than before. Despite this, many customers find the store’s selection, helpful staff, and the positive impact of their purchases make it a worthwhile destination for furniture and home goods shopping.
