“The gas is always the lowest priced in the area and the food is good. The new halel chicken rice bowl is my favorite. The catfish is great too. So are all of their sandwiches. Only complaint is the prepared sandwiches and salads change prices daily.”
“Lots of variety of products. They have moderate prices on all your daily needs. They sell Beer and Cigarettes and a well rounded Wines List in stock. Gas at low price/gal.”

“Good food late at night, to be sure, the mac and cheese is outstanding......and the staff's very comfortable and consistent with those two words of appreciation "Thank you!????”
“This gas station convenience store has changed hands again possibly for the better. The new owner is there a lot and because of that, the operation is better and more professional. I wish they had healthier food choices, and he says he's going to reopen the kitchen. I look forward to seeing how he does and how the community responds to his business. Still has some of the lowest gas prices!”
“Okay, they open 24/7 they don't sell alcohol the food is quite delicious depending on who the cook is for the day and the prices are cheaper especially the gas, just need a little shine?”
“Ohio Gas might sit in an area that doesn’t always get the best reputation, but let me tell you something—this place proves that real character and kindness still exist. The workers here are absolutely awesome, and my experience with them is something I will never forget.
One day, I was completely broke and out of gas. Anyone who’s ever been in that situation knows how stressful and discouraging it feels. You’re stuck, embarrassed, and unsure what to do next. I walked into Ohio Gas not even knowing what I was hoping for, but the clerk behind the counter changed my whole outlook on humanity that day.
Without hesitation, he lent me $5 out of his own pocket so I could put gas in my car. Not store credit. Not a discount. Not some corporate policy. His personal money. Who does that anymore? Seriously—where else can you go and have the clerk personally step up to help you when you’re down? That kind of generosity is rare, and it meant more to me than he probably realizes.
That $5 wasn’t just gas—it was hope. It helped me get to where I needed to be and reminded me that there are still good people in this world who care about others, even strangers. You definitely won’t find that kind of compassion just anywhere. That wouldn’t happen on the west side, that’s for sure.
Since then, every time I come back to Ohio Gas, I’m reminded why I support this place. The workers are always friendly, respectful, and welcoming. They actually treat you like a human being, not just another transaction. You can tell they genuinely care about the people who come through their doors, and that energy makes a huge difference.
Yeah, the neighborhood may not be perfect, but don’t let that fool you. This gas station is a hidden gem because of the people who work here. They bring light to a place where it’s easy to assume there isn’t any. And that matters.
I’ll always go out of my way to stop here when I need gas or snacks. Loyalty means something to me, especially when it’s earned the way Ohio Gas earned mine. That small act of kindness stuck with me, and I’ll never forget it.
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with respect and genuine care, this is it. Ohio Gas isn’t just a gas station—it’s a reminder that good people still exist. Huge shoutout to the amazing staff who go above and beyond. You deserve all the support and business you get.
Thank you for being real. 🙏”
