“Whenever I am in town, I usually make it a point to stop here and grab some Crunk energy drinks.The store is usually clean, the employees are friendly and knowledgeable about items for sale.Gas is usually cheaper here by a few cents as opposed to other gas stations in the area.”
“I used to shop at this store in the 1990’s… never had an issue. Everyone was always friendly, including the managers and owner… their hot food section (Chester Chickens & jojos) was always clean with freshly prepared foods- just like the rest of the products and areas of the store… they used to donate to our fund raisers back then too… (mind you, this was the 90s when Link’s Bakery was serving up those delicious pink cookies in a wax bag!)
This store is connected to so many fond memories of when I lived in Elyria… even the local offices were “good cops”…

“UPDATE: last 2 times I've been in Waffle sandwiches as well as griddle cakes have been readily available!! I have not tried to pay the pump again, as it is really inconvenient to have to go in if it fails.I will stick to places I know work in that aspect. The Food is good, service is ok!
Don't come here if you're looking for food that is advertised such as the waffle breakfast sandwich or the griddle cake sandwiches...
They fill up the case every day with english muffins and burritos like we can't just get that at mcdonald's... I went in here 6 separate times,today being the last straw why are they NEVER made? It is 730 am... I've mentioned it on all five other occasions that I came in just for this item but nothing changed, too lazy? They also advertise pay at the pump, but you Cant if you're disabled don't go here.You'll have to walk all the way in and then they get you an attitude when you tell them their stuff doesn't work.”

“My nephew passed away this morning (Christmas day) and this has been the worst time for our entire family. We were severely dehydrated from crying and needed hydration and at 7am on Christmas an angel appeared. I stopped in to grab some Gatorade and was talking to the cashier and it was brought up that I was looking for another kind and she immediately offered to check the back for 6 of another flavor. I asked for the wrong kind and she graciously put them back and helped me find the right ones. This little act of kindness has brought more warmth than the cashier will ever realize, but I wanted to thank god for putting an angel in my path today. And if you see this, god bless you and merry Christmas.”

“This was a great place to stop! The bathrooms were relatively clean and the staff were super friendly. The gas prices were very good. There was plenty of drink and snack variety to choose from.”
“About 4 months ago, I came into your store, Cleveland St., Elyria, Ohio looking for the Cleveland Plain Dealer as my son's obituary was supposed to be in that weekend's paper. The nice lady at the counter helped me as they already had the next day's paper out. She helped me look through the paper, and she found what I couldn't find as I was so distraught over his death. She gave me the page out of the paper, and would not charge me. She had tears in her eyes as I was crying when reading the obituary. She gave me a hug and the other employee that was there helping her find the right paper for me also gave me a hug. This made my day, and I will never forget it. I will be a CVS customer for life. I wish I knew the names of the 2 employees that were so kind and caring to me. It was on Saturday May 17 or Sunday May 18 about noon or so. The Cleveland St. store deserves some kind words and an award. Maybe you could find out who was working the front counter on either of those days about noonish, and praise them and give them my sincere thanks. Kay”

They started going to sheetz and now with a circle k trying to go in by sheetz Speedway better get it together!”

“I live in Elyria for long time I just move to this area from Cleveland st, Elyria to protect st, Elyria I been to this store couple times OMG WE LOVE THE OWNERS I think the boys the work there are his kids they are so nice so respectful and the dad is doing good job with his kids and the dad so nice as soon we walk in he greet us with HI HOW YOU GUYS DOING WITH A BIG SMILE IN HIS FACE. couples days ago the area lost power we went there he was like I’m sorry cash only because there’s no power so the credit card machine not working we understand the situation he saw I was going to get milk bread some others food he saw I was with my kids he was like here take it I was like no is ok you don’t even know me he was like is ok I can’t do this you with your kids trying to buy food I told him ok I’ll come back to pay when you have power so we did. I really wanted to cry we need more people like that. He felt bad because he saw me with my kids we needed the milk and food. We need to support more mom and pop’s businesses those big corporate stores don’t care about us specially when they have workers that don’t even care about customers PLEASE LETS SUPPORT MORE ALL MOM AND POPS STORES. Before ye guy all going because they not many left around GOD LOVES YOU AND BLESS YOU.”
