“Uggg I love Sam's gas station but it's sucks when raining, you get soaked pumping your gas! I don't know if it's the way it's positioned but the awnings don't help in any weather situation. Nite to self...only get gas in nice weather days”

“Best food from a gas station I've ever experienced. Got a pulled BBQ pork Mac & cheese bowl was to die for. Never have I ever had anything so good from. A gas station before.”

“I can honestly say this is one of the cleanest gas stations I’ve ever been to, especially compared to some of the other gas stations in the area. The cleanliness really made my experience pleasant. I was in there for a while looking through all of the snacks and beverages, and the staff were pretty cool and welcoming. There was a woman and a man working when I went in. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but the shorter woman, Janyria, was especially lovely and pleasant. She really made the experience even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back.”

“I've been here before this for tires and recommend that also. I had an Alignment done after I did a rack replacement at home on my MKZ. Up to the year 2015 they take. The technician that did my alignment was awesome. You did it right and everything goes straight.”

“I am disabled and have trouble with doors. The fight with my rollator. The woman at the counter sent boy who was stocking to hold door for me in. He also stood at top of aisle I went down. He imagined teenagers in store knocking me around with there server. He then held door after I paid. Very nice staff”

“Best atmosphere you can ask for from a gas station. I've been a regular for at least a few years now and it's refreshing to see almost all the workers have stayed employed through that time. Wayyy better than Speedway across the street lol”

“Great Staff! Sometimes customers and people hanging out late at night are probably best to avoid! But Romney is really nice and that gas is usually cheaper than most areas!”

“Caryn is the truth!! She has a smile that lights up a room and is super helpful. She knows her store like the back of her hand. I asked her where something was and without hesitation she rattled it off while never missing a beat. Great job Caryn!! Give this woman a raise!! She earns it regularly!!!”

“I had such a great experience at Speedway! The store was clean, organized, and fully stocked. The staff was fast, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Checkout was quick and easy, and the atmosphere made the stop enjoyable. It’s always nice finding a location where the employees truly care about customer service. Definitely one of the better Speedway locations I’ve visited!”
2091 Grafton Rd, Elyria OH 44035
“The owner seems not to care much from what I’ve heard, but the employees here are AWESOME! Marry is the absolute best. I’d rather come to this gas station after a bad day at work and have a refreshing chat with her than go to some bar. Amazing people, great service, just wish whoever owned it would give it more love & care. Definitely NOT 24/7. From what I can recall they’re open 6am-9pm most every day. Also no public restrooms at this location which is the only reason this review didn’t get 5 stars.”

“My nephew passed away this morning (Christmas day) and this has been the worst time for our entire family. We were severely dehydrated from crying and needed hydration and at 7am on Christmas an angel appeared. I stopped in to grab some Gatorade and was talking to the cashier and it was brought up that I was looking for another kind and she immediately offered to check the back for 6 of another flavor. I asked for the wrong kind and she graciously put them back and helped me find the right ones. This little act of kindness has brought more warmth than the cashier will ever realize, but I wanted to thank god for putting an angel in my path today. And if you see this, god bless you and merry Christmas.”
710 Griswold Rd, Elyria OH 44035
“This was a great place to stop! The bathrooms were relatively clean and the staff were super friendly. The gas prices were very good. There was plenty of drink and snack variety to choose from.”

“Great place to pit stop on a lengthy drive. Clean. Organized. Lots of options for food, a lot of which appears to be made in house. If you have to stop, or you just want a quick bite while filling up, I recommend stopping here.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
