About Thorntons

Thorntons, located at 6347 Dixie Highway in Fairfield, is a trusted stop for fresh foods, high-quality beverages, and fuel across six states: Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Florida. The store aims to be the favorite place for those on-the-go, as well as a great workplace. It is recognized for its commitment to community service and safety, with Team Members actively engaging in humanitarian efforts and fundraising projects. Recently, management announced the removal of express checkout kiosks, which have not been in use for some time. This has led some customers to express frustration about long waits at the register. However, the store maintains a positive atmosphere, with a well-stocked and clean environment. One staff member, Chelsea, received praise for her quick thinking in a potentially dangerous situation, providing comfort and safety to a customer who felt uneasy. Additionally, many appreciate the recent remodel, noting the cleaner facilities and competitive fuel prices, especially with membership cards. Overall, Thorntons is well-liked in the area for its service and convenience.

Seen a bald worker there by the name of aaron and he made me feel a lot better about my hairline. It showed life could always be worse my head could look like a dirty elbow.

Friendly staff, always kept clean, usually pretty stocked with a large variety of food, drinks, snacks, lottery, cigarettes, etc. You're able to receive a discount when you sign up for their rewards card, which is free. Can usually get right in and out if you're in a rush. Sell various gas. Tire Air Pump on site.

Thornton's regularly sells out of date food items. I get that they're working to make a profit. BUT they need to stop selling expired food before someone gets sick. OR WORSE. Dies. If they don't stop selling expired food items, there will be legal consequences.
