“This Dollar General is absolutely amazing!! My sister made a quick trip and I forgot to have her grab Fairlife Chocolate Milk. I called her phone only to realize she had forgotten it. I called Dollar General and Sandy answered the phone. She was slightly taken aback (understandably) by my request but she came through for me!! She told me that she’d relay the message to the cashier and she definitely did. My sister came home with the chocolate milk and I couldn’t have been happier.What seems to be a small gesture is huge to someone else. Thank you to the workers at DG!”

“I come here multiple times a week most of the time.

The store is always clean, well stocked, and staff is always friendly and available!

But the main reason I wanted to review is to give a shout out to their employee, Cliff!

I came towards the end of the evening to get blue Gatorade. Unfortunately once coming to the register I realized I left my card at home in my purse. While trying to figure out if my phone had Apple Pay, cliff went above and beyond and paid for the Gatorade for me.

What cliff didn’t know is there’s a reason I come to the store so often for Gatorade! It is all my autistic child will drink and she burns through them like gas. I had a long hard day with her when coming to the store and was feeling so down and exhausted, dreading the idea of driving all the way back home to get my card, and that small act of kindness from Cliff turned my day around. He didn’t have to do that but he did!

Great store and employees! The young lady that works there is incredibly sweet too! And cliff I will be back tomorrow with the 8 bucks I now owe you!”

“I go there several times of the year when at the Cardinal Center... always nice service an staff... last year at the end of August.. they closed at 3:30 PM... pretty sad... people do not want to work... and as much as people want to shop... hopefully 2024 will be different... I liked their produce dept. and selection... in the store...”

“Drug Mart is not my pharmacy. I called them because my pharmacy told me my medication is no longer manufactured call your doctor. I reached out to Drug Mart because the Internet did not support what my pharmacy said. Drug Mart let me know it is on backorder but gave me two other pharmacies to try since they have different suppliers. First one I called has my medication. Drug Mart pharmacists seem to truly care about the patient even when it's not their own. I will be switching my prescriptions.”

“Love this store!! I live in a rural area and it's so nice to actually have somewhere near by that has everything. This store is also very organized and neat.”

“I go here all the time. One big thing that drives me nuts is customers re- arranging the shelves. There's only 5 employees. They can't do anything about it sometimes. People always complain about the availability; you know what? Then drive to Marion to Walmart. It's a cheap convinant store what do you expect?”

“I am the manager of this store. I am very proud of this store also. We keep it clean and as tidy as we can. We take great pride in it. I got rid of the trash can due to people over filling it thinking this was a car wash place but that was in the spring. Dollar General does not supply employees with shirts. I supplied 1 shirt for my employees. It is summer time so bees are out there’s no getting around it. Im sure 1 peach didn’t draw them all in. The cigarette butts are swept but it’s also an ongoing battle with smokers unlike myself who is not. As for breaking items while bagging accidents do happen and we will make it right even when the customer grabs the bag and rips it and drops the Starbucks frappe bottle, I still made it right. As for the personality of my team I’m sorry that one of us is “a thousand papercuts” but I guess we aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but we do our best and give as great of customer service as we can. I’m sure you aren’t everyone’s cup of tea either but we don’t make up fictional complaints to hurt a business. Our Coke gets delivered every week. But we are at the hands of a vendor so we may not get in everything that someone wants. But the good thing is Dollar General is every 10 mile radius here so if you aren’t happy here there is others you can go to. Happy shopping!!!”

“I absolutely love the Mt Gilead, OH Krogers! The employees are all so friendly and helpful. Though I have to give extra special compliments to Izik and Sonya specifically. They both go above AND BEYOND to jelp customers. I have ceased going to the other two nesrby Krogers locations, simply because of the staff in Mt Gilead.”

“I don't think I ever really had a problem at this Kroger ! A few times they really didn't have any registers open but it wasn't that big of a deal. The employees I would ask for help 10/10 were professional, listened to what I said and told me where to go some of them even brought me over to it. Keep up the good work !!”
