“Lovely place! I had wasted a lot of time searching around big box stores and online for a floor lamp shade. I walked in The Lamp Shade with a photo of the lamp (and a tape measure held next to it), and walked out with the perfect shade in a few minutes thanks to the expert advice and recommendation of the owner. She also offered for me to bring in the lamp itself to test different shades. There are not many stores you can walk into and receive personalized advice/information like you can here, and the shade itself is beautiful and excellent quality. Thank you!”
“Georgie's is a sweet little shop in Canal Winchester. Canal itself is a lovely small town with several shops and eateries to spend an afternoon. A spacious store, much larger than the previous location, where you can find shabby style, vintage, clothing, jewelry, candles, some furniture and other decor. A great place to find gifts and a relaxing place to shop. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Roomy parking lot which is a plus.”

I came to pick up my online order of 2 oversized chairs close to closing, and they were finishing their closing duties, and they made an extra effort to allow me to get my chairs that day from their back holding storage, I really appreciated it and it makes me feel like they really do care about their store and their customers!!”
“I purchased one of the animal clocks with the wagging tails last week, but when I got home I noticed the tail wasn’t working properly. I reached out, and they immediately mailed me two replacement motors so I could easily fix it myself plus a handwritten note with clear instructions. They also assured me that if it still didn’t work, they’d give me a full refund.
The tail is now proudly wagging, and I’m genuinely impressed by how quickly and kindly they resolved the issue. I’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend them to friends!”
“I went for fabric since we lost JoAnne. The selection was sparse when it came to fabric for clothes. There was plenty of quilt and upholstery fabric. I was disappointed. But I do love Hobby Lobby for many other unique items.”

“There’s a reason this one has outlasted just about every other gallery that used to be in the short north. Having a consistent group of artists constantly providing new pieces is the perfect blend of knowing generally what types of things they’ll have while also being surprised by the specific pieces when you get there. The people working there generally are the artists, so they are very knowledgeable and helpful if you have questions about a piece or want to know more about its background. The adorable clay animals are always the draw, but make sure to check out the jewelry case along with the hidden shelf of prints in the back for affordable gift ideas.”

“I came to this store looking for a candle that I purchased at the Hilliard location not wanting to drive way over to the west side. The manager was putting out more Christmas candles and asked if I needed help. Told her about a habitat for humanity candle that I wanted to replace as it gave off the most fragrance I’ve gotten from a candle and at $3 or $4 due to it being half off, I planned on buying a few. She walked me around the various candles displays and showed me a variant from the same candle maker that she thought I would like. Mind you, as a fall candle, it was 75% off. This type of customer service is not received much anymore and I really appreciate her and the whole At Home team working on 12/19/25 during the evening.”

“Great service , quick unloading. They allowed me to park overnight if i wasn’t blocking anything since i had a 06:00 delivery; while i was here no one else was in the other 20ish spots. Not sure if they have a restroom as i didn’t need one. The drivers entrance is by dock one , i think it’s the SE corner of the building”
