“I love Sam’s BUT the gas station needs some order. It is total chaos with cars allowed to come at the pumps from any direction. People get blocked in. It’s ridiculous. Learn from Costco! In and out. So smooth. All you need is a one direction in and one direction out.”

“Competitive gas prices and they always have what you need for a road trip. My only issue is that the gas prices sign is poorly placed and awkwardly positioned diagonally on the corner. The prices are only visible from the the right turning lane on west of Hill to S McCord Rd or on the opposite side going north on S McCord Rd but it often blocked by traffic heading southbound. I really wish the owner would make it more visable. Sometimes I end up driving past and go elsewhere instead of having to turn back around or take my eyes completely off the road just to try and see what they are. I hope my photo explains this better!”

“The smart water was advertised as 2 for $4 but I wound up having to pay the original amount, I don't care about the price or the advertisement. My only problem is the fact that yop0u have living cashier's with a dumb robot cashier taking over their job. What a joke....”

The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
