“I stayed here off season and the one take away I have is that I had a very clean room. I got the king jacuzzi suite and it didn't disappoint. Location was great, and there's a starbucks a mile away for those interested. Check in and check out was easy.
The only gripe I have is that the man running the counter at check in wasn't really interested in being there. I was very courteous and excited, but this guy had some attitude and was just generally very unhappy. The woman was very nice though. I'd recommend staying here, but checking in is the only negative experience I had.”

“The Breakers is all about location. The rooms and restaurants are average but being able to easily walk in and out of Cedar Point, getting in park early, and the beach access are generally worth it.”
“I had difficulty checking in using the electronic kiosk but this did not matter because the manager at the front desk saw my despair and instantly took care of me. Every person on staff I had contact with during our stay was kind and professional. Extra helpful room cleaning staff when we had an inadvertent accident went the extra mile. Very relaxing and fun family time.”

“This place is pretty cool! The water park isn’t as big as great wolf lodge or Kalahari, but still plenty to do for kids of multiple ages. The facility was clean and there are plenty of chairs to use.
They do have a wave pool and kids 42 inches and above can go in without an adult. There are a few waterslides. The biggest slides have a 48 inch height requirement. There is no lazy river, but there is a large hot tub. A couple attractions were closed down and the kids were disappointed about that, especially the basketball area.
They have tons of towels and there is no limit to how many you can use. They are pretty small though.
You can bring your own snacks and drinks in which is really nice! There are also places to eat inside the hotel.
They have a fitness center, but it’s difficult to find and no signs directing you to it that I could see. It opens at 6:30am.
The arcade was fun of course! They also have different activities throughout the evening that kids can participate in- bingo, dance parties, things like that.
The rooms are pretty basic. They had a decent sized fridge and a microwave. They didn’t have a coffee maker or any cups which surprised me. We had to go and specially request cups. The beds are pretty small, but fine for little kids. There were vending machines for n the 3rd floor but not the 2nd.

“Front desk service was great. Best service I have ever experienced. Friendly and helpful. Asked if we could check in early and they had no issue with it. I asked if we could have a room on the 1st floor due to my daughter's disabilities and they switched it. Clean rooms, and clean swimming pool.”

“Room was clean and bed was comfy. Very modern we had the king sweet **NO BUGS**.
Indoor pool was nice hot tub was amazing after long days at cedar point.
Lobby was clean no smells friendly staff . Only dislike was we stayed in the second building and the parking lot had some lights that were out .Plenty of big truck parking . Breakfast offered could of been better very minimal. Over all I still recommend staying .
something to note they are not pet friendly .Just want to put that out there . Recommend for your next vaction or business trip .we will be back to stay.”
“Not the best hotel in Sandusky, but definitely far from being the worst! Good value, clean rooms, and AC worked well. Yes, the room was humid when we checked in but as soon as we turned on the AC it got better very quickly. The filters on the unit were clean and we didn’t struggle with any allergy issues due to dust blowing around. Did the carpet have some stains and the walls have some dings? Yes. But overall the room was clean and comfortable. Don’t let the bad reviews here keep you from staying at this very budget-friendly and clean hotel close to Cedar Point!”

“The rooms were clean and there were no problems getting enough towels and such.
However, the lobby doesn't open until 8, despite it saying it will open at 6 for breakfast. The breakfast is also lackluster with only bananas, cereal, milk, coffee, and honey buns.
The prices were great and the rooms were adequately clean.”

“We stayed the weekend at this hotel for a fishing trip that we brought our dog along. For a pet friendly low budget hotel with an indoor pool, I was very satisfied. It was clean and had comfortable beds. The staff was very accommodating, especially Michael at the front desk. He did everything he could do to make her stay pleasant, despite the fact that there were other guests that were causing problems at the hotel. He had a good positive attitude and really was the reason i enjoyed my stay. Having a welcoming positive calm demeanor with your guests will keep them coming back. Way to go Michael!”
