“This is the place, to find all manner of Real-Live heavy duty "Marine Supplies"! (They were originally, a "Ship Chandler", as I understand...) I have also bought many pieces of hardware useful for tree trimming, over the years, from Samsel. They are splicers of wire, as well and can make your cables "Taylor Made" for your particular application. Very high quality hand tools here, as well.”

“Found out about this Hardware store from a BIG BOX employee when I could not find what I wanted. He told me if they don't have what you are looking for you are out of luck. So, I gave it a try and have been back often. Great place it reminded me of the neighborhood hardware stores where I grew up.
THEY provide MANY services one of which I will be back for soon is Screen repairs.

I brought in my EGO electric power mower for repair, and Ray and Kevin were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the get-go. They wasted no time in assessing the issue and explaining what needed to be done.
What really blew me away was how quickly they got the job done. I dropped off my mower in the morning, and by the end of the day, it was fixed and ready to go! Plus, they made sure to handle everything under my warranty, which saved me a ton of hassle.

“First for everything. Never been in E&H. Just came here from SC visiting family and I had such an amazing experience here with Kara and Dzmetri. Outstanding customer service from these 2 employees and I mean outstanding service. Well mannered and simply delivered! I spent a while in this store and noticed the two of them working hard with answering customers concerns while handling multiple customers. Both will multitask and go from one end of the store to the other. “Needed someone to cut a blank key I bought elsewhere. It’s a VW key which has the cut on the inside so needs a special type of key cutter to get it done. I checked several places and this was the only one within 10 miles that would do it for me. Ace could do it but they only do it if you buy a key from them so that was a no go. My key was falling apart and these guys saved my butt!
I’ve been here many times before for hardware and paint but had no idea they did a key cutting service. Great store with great convenience! Thank you”

Edit: I provided an unfair review as I was frustrated by their part in a frustrating process. DeWalt customer service directed me to them through their online portal and after driving for 45 minutes to get there was turned away and given a different company another 20 minutes away.
They were friendly and helpful, but unable to help with my problem so cannot judge quality of service.”

“Western Window offers a rare service that will reproduce a window or screen and other, no longer available, items for older homes. The personnel is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to figure things out. My home is 118 years old. Although the storm windows were added later, I couldn't find a replacement screen. Bingo. Western Window had the solution. Driving more than 40 miles was worth it. It is a family owned business with a customer service attitude unmatched by many. If you need a window or window accessory you can't find, give them a call.”

“Had to have my riding mower picked up for repair. That cost was $60 dollars which I thought was high but what can you do if you have no other way to drop off. The part Needed was unavailable and had to be ordered, took like 6 weeks. Once in, Puritas fixed in about 3 days. They repaired my mower and all is good. The price was reasonable and I'd use again.”
