Lebanon Equine Clinic
1200 Oregonia Rd, LebanonTruly the best service with a late night emergency with our horse when she had an esophageal obstruction or “choke”. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Holly McMinn at Lebanon Equine Clinic for making an emergency visit and spending half the night in the barn with us! After several attempts she finally got the obstruction cleared. She worked so hard and treated our horse with such love and kindness through the process.
Finding a vet that was willing to come out so late is so hard these days and she didn’t hesitate to help us. Dr. McMinn, we appreciate you so much! You saved our girl for sure. We are so grateful to you for making the trip to our farm!

645 Columbus Ave, LebanonMy hubs and I started working with Ruth at Whole Dog University as soon as we brought our German Shepherd puppy home at 8 weeks old. We learned invaluable training and socializing techniques and graduated on to Basic Obedience training. As I write this review, our 6.5 month old puppy is in "place" with his eyes locked on me. He is nearly perfect on a leash as we walk through our community and we're continuing to expose him to new environments and distractions while training him to stay focused. We've even made it through teething without any mishaps involving furniture, shoes, or anything else!Ruth is awesome to work with. We're convinced that she is fluent in "dog" and she does an amazing job of translating "dog" to humans! Having graduated from Basic Obedience, we'll be registering for the next level, for sure. We're so glad we found Whole Dog University and decided to invest in our puppy!

The Crate Room at HVO
5474 OH-48, LebanonOne of my absolute favorite orchards ever and one of the best places for some fall fun! My husband and I try to make it to HVO annually for a fall date day and were able to make that happen yesterday. There has been so many changes and upgrades over the year and it's only gotten better! We grabbed lunch from the snack shack-- a fried chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with jalapenos, queso, and jalapeno ranch with a side of house cut fries AND a tray of loaded beer cheese (housemade) fries with jalapenos and green onions. My husband loved every single bite he tried. The jalapenos were obviously spicy, but so crunchy and had amazing flavor. I usually pick jalapenos off because of the heat, but I nibbled on these the whole meal. The fried chicken sandwich overall was delishhhh. The pretzel bun was so soft. I'm inclined to think the jalapeno ranch was housemade. The beer cheese had too strong of a beer flavor for me, but I am not a big beer fan. We ate on a bench outside and listened to some live music and enjoyed the sunshine. We also got some apple nacho samples and bought our fair share of baked goods. Fritters and donuts were BOGO that day! (hot tip: they often are on Sundays) The apple fritter is one of the best I have ever had. The apple cider donuts are great too. We also got some apples for $2.49/lb (SUCH a good price) and a jug of apple cider (not made there, but still local). Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. Next time, we plan to get food from Dayton BBQ Co who now operates out of an old barn on the property. Their food looks sooo good.

726 E Main St, LebanonWe've visited twice the past couple months. I've tried the chicken teriyaki and hibachi, while husband had beef teriyaki. He said the beef was a really good cut and tender, while my chicken was good quality as well. He had the dinner, while I had the lunch and there wasn't much difference in quantity, so he said he'll be going with the lunch in the future. Service is always friendly and attentive. Interior very clean and cozy.

The staff went above and beyond in every way — so attentive, kind, and genuinely excited to be part of our day. They completely transformed the brewery into a beautiful wedding venue while still keeping the charm and authenticity that makes the space so special.
The Ladder 41 kitchen team was incredible — enthusiastic and creative in adapting their usual brewery fare into delicious wedding dishes that our guests are still talking about. And the bartenders were amazing! They were friendly, engaging, and by the end of the night, they were on a first-name basis with so many of our guests. It made the whole evening feel even more personal and welcoming.
Every detail was handled with care, and the entire celebration flowed seamlessly. We’re so grateful to the team at The Lebanon Brewing Company for making our reception unforgettable. We can’t recommend them highly enough for anyone looking for a unique, warm, and lively place to celebrate!
