“Just moved to this area. Have found Shell gas to be great. My old Ford pickup has had no issue's with this Regular gas. The attendants are nice, courteous and helpful. They told me to get and use the discount card for cents off. (Like the Kroger card for cents off) if I forget my card I just use my alt id # and I'm fine too. So I really save cents off using those cards. Plus those attendants have really helped me find great other places around town. I get lots of good referrals to other places, since I'm new to this area!.”

“This was by far the nicest, UDF, gas station and convenience store I’ve ever been to — everything was well labeled, & well marked, they had clean restrooms, & a clean environment. There was even outdoor seating with lights, a nice gas station with nice gas pumps. They offered many things to drink, including my go-to drink, which is unsweetened iced tea, and it was freshly brewed. They also had sweet tea - plus they offered crushed ice & who doesn’t love that!”

“Great customer service! Everyone has been so nice! I go there a few times a month. I'm older, on a fixed income, there were a couple times I didn't have the full amount I owed. So I would try to put back an item but The employees always make sure I get what I need, they have pulled cash out of there own pocket and or purse and paid the amount I needed! Never asked me to pay it back! How sweet and awesome is that! (I do and did pay them back). They wouldn't let me feel embarrassed about it either. I really appreciate that! (I don't have transportation so when I get a ride I have to take it.) They all have been kind, compassionate and are professional on the job! Not many places can say that about all of their employees! Thank you Thorten employees! Jobs well done!”

“I stopped by this Speedway recently after a dedicated boycott of this specific location and had one of those rare experiences where a quick stop turns into something genuinely memorable. I didn’t catch his name at first, but after asking, I learned it was John Ramsey Jr. Some regulars seemed to know him by “Goku,” which honestly fits the energy he brings.
What stood out wasn’t just friendliness, it was the way he handled everything going on around him. The store was busy, a few customers needed help at once, and he kept things moving smoothly without ever seeming rushed or dismissive. He communicated clearly, stayed composed, and made sure each person felt acknowledged. That kind of situational awareness is not something you can train overnight.
There’s also a level of ownership in how he works that goes beyond the typical expectations for the role. You get the sense he’s not just completing tasks, he’s actively maintaining standards, anticipating needs, and representing the brand in a way that builds trust with customers. “I purposely go out of my way to go to this jo- mart. I have a gas station 2 Minutes from my house but they’re garbage (marathon on Main Street) so I take the extra time to go. Their store is clean & maintained. They have awesome selections of food, drink, alcohol, etc. the staff is always so, so polite and a pleasure to speak with. They really value their customers and I can tell with every single transaction! Thank you!”

“Always have to make a stop at UDF when we visit. Just stopped in for a late night ice cream. Chandler was very friendly, took care of us right away and took a few minutes to chat with us about our visit. Store is super clean, well stocked and our stop there earlier today was also good. Staff kept the line moving and greeted everyone as they came in.”

“I come here to fill up at least twice a week. Staff is always friendly and the inside of the store is always well kempt. A few cons would be the receipt paper is out 90% of the time at the pumps. Additionally, the window cleaner at the pumps are always stinky; last winter they were usually completely empty too. It would be lovely to see the window cleaner compartments emptied, cleaned, and refilled more often.”
“The pharmacy staff is amazing!! I had an exorbitantly pricey prescription and they were able to help me with a discount card that significantly reduced the cost. I’ve gotten several vaccinations here and they are always professional and friendly despite being very busy.”

“I just want to say it is hard to find a smiling face these days when you walk in a store and ask an employee questions. Most of the time it seems that no one wants to help you. But Walgreens on reading road in mason has the best employee ever. Tina is just a sweetheart. Whenever I go in and need something she is there with a smile on her face, and goes above and beyond to help. I really hope Walgreens recognizes what an amazing employee she is! I have worked in retail and can tell you she be my employee of the month. Thank you Tina for making my experience great Everytime I visit your store! I will only come in this location now! All the employees are very nice at this location!”
