“We ended up at a Marriott International property after deciding not to stay at our original hotel closer to downtown, and I’m so glad we made the switch. The level of service from the staff was top notch from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. On top of that, the surrounding area was fantastic, with great restaurants and bars all within walking distance. It turned an unexpected change into one of the best parts of the trip.”

“We recently stayed here for a nearby wedding. The location was great and walkable from the venue, there were also many food options relatively close which was nice. Our room was very nice and clean, and the bath products were also awesome. The two biggest complaints were the bed being uncomfortable (though that might just be personal preference..it was very firm and we prefer a slightly squishy bed) and the website/app listing dry cleaning as an amenity when the person at the front desk has no idea what we were talking about. We had flown in for the wedding and had planned in using the dry cleaning service to freshen up the shirt and suit my husband was wearing, but when we spoke with the man at the front desk he said they didn't have any dry cleaning service, said they only had a washer and dryer, and recommended a dry cleaning service that was down the street which turned out to be closed the entire time we were there. Other than that, the stay was pleasant and all of the staff were very friendly.”
“So much to do at this kid friendly resort! Water rides are so much fun and the wave pool is a blast for our little ones. Our kids love floating down the lazy river and hitting up the arcade after the water park closes for the day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean and our kids loved the kids cabin. You do have to pay for parking but honestly what resort or amusement park can you visit with no parking fees? We love GWL!”
“First day at pool was rough due to swim lessons being held and you arent warned about then the First night down at the pool was rough. Had a huge group of disrespectful younger adults refusing to listen when being addressed. Doing somersault and almost landed on my 4 year old. I will say at that point i was more than ready to leave and never use this hotel again. However I will say kavya at the front desk handled this situation like a boss. Not once not twice but 3 times and finally told them to leave the pool area or she would have to call authorities. She single handly turned this trip around for us.”

“Only complaint is I wish it was closer to kings island! Other than that, great service, clean rooms, friendly staff, and the free dinner (5:30 kickback), breakfast, and 3 free cocktails per adult was icing on the cake! Will definitely return!”
