When I received it and saw that it was incorrect, I replied to the order email asking for an RMA. They immediately responded and said to ship it back and they would ship me the correct one, which they did. No BS, no hassle, no go find the return link and fill out a form or fine print, just respond to the order email and voila. Could not have been easier. That and they were half the price of the corps. “I try to patronize "mom and pops'" wherever geographically I am at that time of need, but especially in the community I find myself living in and spending a majority of my time. That said, I wandered into Wilkes with a question, the likes of which were admittedly ambiguous and given that my knowledge of the English languages' adjectives are nothing to write home about Jack, the apparent owner gave me the time of day and despite not ending up having the hardware I needed pointed me to a close location that had more chances of stocking what I needed. I ended up buying some WD-40, of which I have 5 cans of, from him anyway as a tip of the hat on my way out because it always feels good to wash each other's hands and if we're honest, WD-40 is hobbyists'/DIY'ers cheat code. All of our appliance purchases in the last five years have been from Bloom Brothers, and without incident. (We moved into our home in 2005, and in the last few years all of the appliances we installed when we moved in have met their natural end, one at a time, since 2020.)
The day I called to order what I thought would be a 30” white, dual fuel, double-oven Café range, Cody was amazingly helpful, confirmed the details I was requesting, and got the range ordered right away. It even arrived early.
Very shortly after delivery, we discovered an issue with the racks inside the oven. I called Cody, and after some explanation and troubleshooting, he said he was just going to order another range.
Range Number Two arrived with a different manufacturing issue involving the sensor that registers that the door is closed and turns off the light inside the oven. Not repairable—or acceptable with a brand new unit—so again Cody ordered a new range for us.
By the time Range Number Three arrived, we were all skittish and Shannon (manager) had instructed the delivery team to check the racks before it was even loaded off the truck. Good thing, because even with the delivery team being the ones to try, the racks didn’t go into the slots in the oven. One quick call back to the store, and we were told to just go in and we’d figure something out.
When we arrived, Shannon was SO gracious. At that point, after THREE failed attempts to purchase the Café (General Electric), we were confident that the best decision would be to pivot and go with a completely different manufacturer. Shannon was patient, kind, and diligent in helping me find the range that I’m ultimately thrilled with—a 30”, white, dual fuel single oven unit from Fulgore Milano.
The lesson here: While one should have serious reservations about purchasing a Café range from General Electric, one should NOT hesitate to work with Bloom Brothers for a single moment. They were professional, patient, kind, and provided us with excellent customer service.

“They Had exactly what I needed and the place was well stocked. But don't show up any earlier then 8:00 am sharp... The employee stood in the doorway with the door locked and stared at me until 8 o'clock exactly lol. Just following rules I suppose”
“Called ahead after I Google Satellited the place & saw how little space they had for a 53ft dry van. Was told I was more than welcome to come the night prior to stay over night. Told I could go ahead & break seal & dock only in the dock by the wall. Guy said they'd wake me up when they were done unloading. Other docks are for pickup trucks & box trucks. I complied. I also put the ppw in the back of the trailer. Surprisingly, they started on my trailer at 0600. Got ppw at 1015.”
“Unloads pretty fast, my first time there today. Hope its usually like this. The guy unloading me was nice, and courteous. Only 1 bay to deliver plate, but only takes about 30 min per Truck once inside. Pretty fast for 1 guy unloading.”

“I called Harold’s with a question about a lock and right away the service stood out. The man who answered the phone was polite and immediately handed me over to a woman who was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to help. I wasn’t even asking for a standard locker lock, bc I needed one with a specific hatch and hook , and she kindly walked me through four different options at very reasonable price points so I could choose what worked best for me. She happily recommended the cheaper option, which you just don’t see much of these days, and EVEN stayed and waited for me to come in to give me the lock, that she had reserved a spot for , right next to her on the counter.
Both her and the man I spoke with were so kind, patient, and helpful from start to finish. The store itself is amazing, they literally have everything you can imagine, from basic hardware to hard-to-find items that most places don’t even stock anymore. It’s clear they know their inventory and care about helping customers get exactly what they need. Excellent experience all around. 10/10. Highly recommend!”
